Pulled this up along the roadside, and am hoping I can get it to grow in my garden. There were lots of clumps - even growing in some people's front lawns. The flowers are small - about the size of a quarter to a half dollar at most, when open. They close up at night.

(the rounded leaves do not belong to this plant - the leaves are straight and grass-like.)

Thanks for responding, but star jasmine is a vine, and this plant is a very low clumping plant. I haven't pulled it apart to further investigate it, but I believe it is a bulb of some sort.
