Well I got bitten by the painting bug...after months of looking at it I couldn't bare to leave it plain any longer.

I still have a little detail work to finish up but it's pretty close to being done.

grin I'm glad you both like it! I've been working on it off and on for weeks now....I'm sort of a perfectionist....although like I said I do need to do a few small touch ups.

Very nice, now you can see the frog and bunny. I like how you even painted up her toes, very cute.

Thanks Di--Painting like that is so therepeutic to me.....it relaxes me. Mom got a statue too. A boy and girl on a log...and now she's saying that she wants me to paint it too. lol

I figured I couldn't mess up too much, the statue was only $14.99 on sale.

You could go with any color that you would like with blue. Yellow is the complimentary color for blue. You can go with golden colored wood. White looks crisp with blue. Are you talking about painting wooden furniture? Or upholstering stuff? Or just throwing a few pillows around?

Toposh, I'd go with a brown. Blue and brown look great together. Works for Tiffany....
