Tamara, what gets me, out of the whole article, is the penalty for smuggling wildlife!!!!......Under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999, the maximum penalty for smuggling wildlife is imprisonment for up to 10 years, as well as fines of up to $110,000.......Why doesn't the law care as much about human beings???!!!
I get so angry over the sentencing of murders, rapes, child abuse/molesting etc!!!!!! I can't stand the fact that criminals have become so coddaled, then a penalty like that for snakes and lizards being smuggled!!!
