I'm wondering if I can put them in pots now for the move in late winter? Will they survive outside or do I need to bring them inside since they are in pots? The leaves are still green on them. Maybe I should wait until they die back and then just store the bulbs say in my veggie crisper?

I used to dig mine up in fall, then put them in a paper bag in the bottom of my fridge.(in the onion drawer) and replant them in spring......One year I forgot to dig them up never bought them again.

Thanks Tamara, I'll put stakes around their area so I can find them when their leaves die back. It'll be much easier to move them that way. I was just worried because these are babies they have never put forth a flower stock. At least not yet.

TK just make sure they do not freeze.
