I love your butterfly bush too! Every one I've planted down here has died fairly fast. I still have butterflies though; just a few days ago I walked out in the morning and saw a newly emerged Zebra Heliconian male hanging about two feet away from two female chrysalides, both covered in male butterflies waiting for the girls to emerge. It was absolutely stunning. I think you need to move way south for December butterflies, but I do envy your butterfly bush.

Thanks all. It's January now and it looks like it should. I have 2 bushes. A white one and this yellow. The flutterbys like the white one best. I can sit on the deck and watch them all day and get nothing else done. BEST on Saturdays. lol
I love my garden
