Here is one of my Christmas Gifts from Rodney.--he woke me up singing a Christmas Carol & asked me if I was gonna sleep or get up and get one of my presents.--so up I got !!

This is a 3-in-one blower/vacuum/mulcher. I am so happy---he even got on our Family's web site to see what I put on my list to get his idea. And I should say, this is a much nicer one than what I asked for. Color me happy!!!

[Linked Image]

I tried to rotate the picture---and it is upright in my photobucket--but it copied like the orignal--sorry.

So what did anyone else get??

That is WAY cool Carol. How does it mulch?

We have a blower that will blow the siding off the house. I want one that I can work with in the flower and vegetable garden that won't blow the plants up by the root. Is yours like that?

I got too much stuff to list it all, it's sort of embarrassing.

My fav. thing though was my 3 set of cordless phones Mark got me to replace the 2 set I had. thumbup And my 2 new webkinz.....and 2 sets of PJ's, and my digital photo keychain....oh and my 2 new PS2 games. And Mark picked out all kinds of cute sweaters for me, he did good! And he stuck money in a card for me too! OH, and I asked for a Swiffer Wet Jet....yeah I'm weird....I don't mind stuff like that for Christmas.....maybe I'll go try it out! lol

He went out to his parents and will be coming home with even more stuff. grin

Later my 16 year old niece will be here so we'll get to watch her open all of her stuff too!

A really nice smooth round rock he picked up along the way on a nature hike field trip this spring at school,, IT's just the perfect size for the Willy Village,, thumbup

A book I gave him when he was 3,, Night Night prayers for little boys, I signed that book 5 years ago,,, Brought tears to my eyes, grin

From Tre' and Breyton together,,,

They put together their points they earned at school and went shopping in the school store and bought( with their points) a Fairy puzzle(500 pcs) that glitters and glows in the dark,, it is designed by,,Kinuko Y. Craft one of the most widely known fantasy artist in the U.S.today , ( of course they didn't know that,) and the picture is beautiful,, grin )

From Tre'
Earlier in the year He bought from the school store a Stuffed dalmation Pup he has since decided to give to Emmy to keep her company, he wrapped it up for Emmy,.... awwwwwwwwww

A book about a dalmation and his bone,, CUTE and Funny and goes with the stuffed dalmation,, Gotta Love that!! clap

Great gifts from your grandboys, Diane. You are very lucky. I have no grands and I am envious. I'll take 'em when you get tired of them, any day!

Maxi gave me a cordless table top fountain. It looks like a firepit, so it lights up and circulates the water too. His counsellor only had 20 minutes to take him shopping, so they ran over to Right Aid and he is a good shopper to have found that.

My favorite thing about Christmas Day was having the time to play with Maxi and his new toys and reading aloud The Hobbit. We played and read all day and never did have our dinner until 8 PM.

We were given two hands to hold, two eyes to see, two ears to listen & two legs to walk. But why were we given only one heart?
The other heart was given to another for us to find.

yes it is very strong--I tried it out on the carpet---it blew my rug up and into a roll---it has more power on the low setting than some have on the high--it is why DH bought it--he said he did not have anything to reference what each velosity would do so he went this the strongest---( thumbup)

If I understand right-- the mulcher vacuums up the leaves & then they go thru a blade that mulches them on their way to the attached shoulder bag.

then you unzip the bag and have access to the mulched leaves. Yippee

Thank you all for your kind words---I am happy too

Here is what else I got.

Rod got me a bunch of wooden untensils form "that's my pan" that have my name on them.
You see-- My niece had my name in the family exchange and she got me a 9 x 13 personalized pan. when she did she saw these utensils & told valarie who in turn told Rod- I love them and of course the pan--

The girls & their DH's got me a box of frames each with pictures of the 4 of them together & then of the girls and then of course of my grandpuppies.--very nice.--

(there are more empty frames --hopefully for future pictures of future 'relatives' ??? (notme)

I got a layered-look shirt from Emily & eye creme from Valarie.

and a dress watch from my mom & dad.---

Sounds like everyone had a really nice christmas. I got lavender heatable booties and a really soft warm throw blanket from my brother and his girlfriend. My grandparents sent their home baked goodies to us and I got a really pretty ornament that they picked up from Buchart Gardens. Joey got me a bag of espresso beans (the kids know how much I like my coffee) and 2 big bags of dark chocoalte peanut m&m's. The girls got me 3 pairs of soft fuzzy socks and 2 bath balls. My b/f gave me cash. My mom and step dad got me a gift card to Joann's (so I can pick out my sewing machine), a gift card to black angus and the cheesecake factory and a movie theater gift card. My mom is the queen of gift cards. She also gave cash to everyone. My MIL comes on saturday so we'll be doing another christmas with her next weekend.

The camera where the batteries won't stay charged is a Sony Cyber-shot 3.2 pixels. I've had it 2 or 3 years and from what I've read that's there limit. I went online and found that the battery thing happens to a lot of people with this camera. It was time to upgrade.

My new camera is a Canon Power Shot S5IS with 8 pixels.

Hi all,
Sounds like a wonderful Christmas for everyone... Congratulations Tamara- weddings are fun to plan but I agree- keep to a budget- and a time frame and you will be fine...

I got my new digi cameara, a new 3 in one printer--- hubby gave me gift cards for Kohl's... and Barnes and Noble... I could spend the day in there...LOL!
Carrie gave me 2 casseroles with t- light warmer racks - comes in handy for the family dinners... then the kids all got together and got me a 5 qt kitchen aid arisian standard mixer... white and I love it... can't wait to get new new yeast and try out my bread receipes... will make making the goodies so much easier for everyone--- love it... kids all been conspiring behind my backs and my new son in law to be evidently found a good deal on the net to buy it too... he is really good at that stuff.I got pj's too and a gown and a robe too- a pretty candle too- cinonmon/vanilla- got some potted mums too...
One of the smallest but most touching was the hand made ornament my 97 yr old aunt sent me-- she sent a little poem with it too- will treasure those forever... I have a little frame to put the poem in too... but I may go look for a shadow box frame to put both in to make a nice Christmas decoration ... not that I really need more but would like to protect it too.
Nana

Congratulations Tamara!!!

Loz, my boyfriend's name is Mark. If you lived in PA I would be questioning him tomorrow. lol This year he brought me a diamond tennis bracelet, 2 suits for work, a Coach purse that he put money in because they say it is bad luck to give someone a purse without money and a bunch of stocking suffer things. To have two Marks that shop that good is a little strange. lol

I know I am out of town a lot but I hope he does not have time to play husband in another state, haha
