They're here! Right on schedule, too! My Mulberries will be ripe in a few days, and today I heard the high-pitched shrill hissing that announces the presence of flocks of Cedar Waxwings. I grabbed my camera......my NEW camera! Last night my son gave me a Kodak EasyShare Z885, 8 megapixel 5X Optical Zoom camera. He recently found a phenominal deal of some kind on new cameras and has come home with 5 or six in the last week including a Nikon D40 SLR camera for himself, that I would KILL for, but he wants me to test drive it some, so I guess I won't have to kill him after all......anyway my new Kodak camera is almost as good as my daughter's Canon. Here are the pics I took of the Cedar Waxwings today. Research them on Google or Wikipedia to learn more about the, "Most handsome bird in North America". OMG!!! I LOVE cedar waxwings!   I've seen them up here too. I've never gotten a good picture of them , you got an EXCELLENT picture!!!
