I was so lucky to have braces back in the early 60's. So many kids needed them and didn't. In my middle school there were only 2 of us. I had to wear my headgear 24/7. I did take it off for that picture.  I didn't mind wearing it to school at all. I also look much more like my mother than I ever wanted to.

Cheryl, You were a cutie! And Johnny Depp is funny. He was my oldest daughter's heartthrob in her teens (She is 38) and also is my youngest daughter's now (age 19). I always smile about that coincidence.

Lost all our pics in a housefire but DD has one of me when I was 14...gonna get her to email it tome today. Oh my, I am so sorry to hear that. Losing my pictures would bother me the most I think. We should all do what my oldest DD did. She has a disk of certain pictures in her lock box at the bank. of course there was not always that option.  of course then one has to have a box at the bank.... Have you thought to ask your momma or other family members if they have any pictures of the times before the fire ?? I am not saying to try to replace all of them, but just a few here & there. Just a thought...........
