Oh, the things I don't know... I keep on thinking that these tree nets would be square and that they would need to be thown over the top of the tree. Well even when I unfolded it I still tried to do it. It wasn't until it was fully open that I realized that it was a roll and it was suppose to be wrapped around the tree and then kind of gathered at the top and bottom. Who knew?...not me! At least I should get as many of the plums as the squirrels and other wildlife do. But getting at it now that should be interesting, lol.

So I've been thinking of investing in some fruit trees, now I know another thing I have to think about...we don't have squirels, but we do have birds!

I didn't have squirrels either, when I moved in here. Then I got the fruit trees. I have all kinds of visitors now.

There are no squirels in our town. They haven't found us yet. This town is no even 30 years old yet, and there were no trees here until the town grew up here. There are squirels in Gillette, 40 miles away, but none here yet. But I think I would have to cover fruit trees from the birds! We have lots of them and since I have a bird bath that has water pumped to it and I feed them, I have lots around my yard! Thanks for the heads up on how to cover a fruit tree

The animals haven't touched my plum tree..although a moose ate my apple tree, apples and branches(he killed it).
~~Tam~ You can bury all your troubles by digging in the dirt.

i'm sorry you lost your apple tree. I don't know what I'd do if I saw a moose in my yard. I'm in virginia.
