Ladder

I have a old black ladder that a friend gave me. Don't know what to do with it this year. I know I want to paint it. And place it some place different then last year. Would like some ideas of what color and where to place this year. Here are 2 pictures:)

I donno, I kind of like the "worn" look to it, adds character that paint will just cover up... If it was me the only thing I think I'd do with it would perhaps put a clear coat on it and re-purpose it like you have in your pics...

I agree on that.
However there are hot colors in the store you can spay on if you go that route.

I agree too. If you paint it then it will become the focal point instead of the plants being the focal point. I would put more than one plant per step and maybe even sit some type of big, bushy one underneath it so it will grow through the steps and add some trailing plants. You know, fill it up. Do you have it on a porch?

I believe I would repaint it to,, IF it were wood I'd leave it alone then the weathered look would be nice. Because it's metal I'd paint it, as they said it would be a nice focal point with plants complimenting it!
