Glossy leaved house plants such as Philodendrons, Rubber plants, and Palms should be sponged off periodically, to allow them to breathe.

They do gather lots of dust inside.. And they do clean the air for us. So gives these fellows a nice sponge bath to keep them happy an healthy. They also put moisture into the air in you home , as the heat drys our air.

On warm days outside you can check for broken branches on shrubs an trees. The snow, wind an ice do cause lots of problems out there..PS less work for spring.

My grandmother always used a soft cotton cloth & milk to clean her plants. I still remember her telling/showing me how to do this

I have heard that done.. Doesn't it leave film on them?

Water is cheaper.LOL
Mine just love it when I put them under the sprayer an turn on the water.
Can be don't in the sink or bath tub.

no--she just used the last drop of milk in her glass, wet the cloth & did a plant or 2 with each glass of milk---they were shiny & bright afterwards...
