I did make it to Walmart, I even finished half of my Christmas shopping....than it started to snow so we left. Oh well, GG had her McD's and I put a big dent in my shopping list....and my Christmas budget

Good afternoon, the snow melts as it falls Tina.

Dh has no idea when they will go back to work, they are having money shortages with the Fall budget and have laid off more men and temporarily closed the whole garage for two months(sept and oct)....if we get any kind of snow fall anytime soon, there will be no operators to plow it.

It is a breezy day but the air is so fresh.

I hope he gets taken back in when the need is there, Sunny.
I have cooked breakfast and cleaned up after. Then I decided to put together lunch (mac & cheese) and cleaned up after. I'm about ready to trim Teddy's hair. Today is going well, so far.

oh my Sunny. I have to wonder though. Is the closing of a shed & the laying off of men a ploy by the powers that be to get more funding for your Dh's shed. You know when the people in power "see" what the roads, etc. will be like when no one is there to clean them, possibly money will suddenly become available.

Good morning, there are still flurries in the air.

The roads were slippery last night. We have no idea about DH's place of work. A few years ago they temporarily closed the first garage then the next year it closed permanently. Now they are doing the same with this one. There is only one more place for a transfer if there are any open positions. DH is not worried though, with a transport license he can find work if need be some where else.

I have an easy day ahead...well I probably just jinxed myself but that is the plan

I hope he doesn't have to work elsewhere, Sunny. That would really suck. He'd miss your cooking if nothing else.

I have the utmost respect for teachers.. I spent all day working with Nicoli . We did a language arts project for his portfolio, science, math,spelling( have I said how much I detest the way they teach math now)and did some of his review pages... I am exhausted... some of it may be the weather changing too... we are to get rain in the next day or 2..

Before I went to Carrie's I put a London Broil in the crockpot with some enchilada sauce.. came home and shredded it , put it in a pan with corn tortillas, cheese , and some fresh cut up tomatoes... so dinner is done... good thing cause tonit will be a hot bath and early to bed night..

Sunny hope the work situation work out for you .. things can be so stressful..

Well I am going to go eat.. and maybe head to bed... to at least get warm...

Yes, I too have very much respect for teachers. Of course my youngest DD was a teacher & the oldest is one now. They do a lot.

I went to baby-sit at my youngest's last night. Her little one kept up all up last night off & on. I guess he was teething & was not happy no matter what. As a result we none of us got much sleep.
So today was wasted, as when I got home I did nothing to speak of.

I hope to go to bed soon.

Good morning....I guess none of us had an easy day as planned.

The weather is cold and flurries are still falling. Today I have a lot of baking to do, bread and such.

I also started to put some pics in my photobucket...hoping to start a thread to share some with you by tomorrow.

Good morning. Pictures are always welcome, Sunny. Happy Tuesday. I hope Carol gets her ceramics time. It still makes me happy when that happens.
And I am expecting an easy day today as well. All I have on my list so far is filling my tank after I drop my son at school. But my list grows so we will see.

I am sure we all remember those types of days with young ones. And yes, yesterday was a rough one.
Today I hope will be easier for us all. I am soon on my way out of the door. Just waiting for my hair to dry.

Em told me that it is supposed to get back up to 80 this week. So, I guess I will put off changing over the closets.

I think we would all love to have Sunny bake at our house... the smell alone would be heaven...

Today is my day off , sort of but I will be going over to Carries anyway to help hang some curtains, her oldest son decided to move out and live with his girlfriends family... so Derek moved into his room... but there are no curtains on the windows down there going to take the rods I have and Carre has some black curtains to hang..Derek likes it dark..
he gets his own bathroom too so he is a happy camper... Joe is going over too, to clean out the window well.. and put the cover on it... and clean out the gutters too.. Jon just won't do it and Carrie is afraid it will flood basement again... supposed to rain and we don't need that... we have a power washer he bought to wash down our siding so he will use it to do most of the work... just hope it is an easy job for him.

Well he is sleeping in so guess I will start making breakfast and see if that wakes him up... have a good day all!

When I got out to my van this morning, it wouldn't start. So my plans got changed around. All is well now and it didn't cost all that much. It just put a kink in my day.

I too have a busy day. I finally gave in and made a list that is a full notebook page long. Once I have my coffee drank, I shall start in with it.

My list is done. I tried to nap but that didn't happen. So I'm zoning out at my computer.

I spent over 3 HOURS on the first item on my list !! And that did me in. I hope to get some of the list done tonight, otherwise I will begin to try to get it all done tomorrow.
OR at least put a big dent in it.

Supper is done & now I am wondering what to cross off of my list tonight. I think laundry is going to win.

I hope you got done what really needed doing, Carol. And can take the time for to rest too.
I'm fading fast. I;ll be heading to bed as soon as Ted will let me.

Good morning. I slept very well. I am ready to go today. This day will include some shopping for things I am running low on. That's always interesting.

Good Morning. Another nice day here. After my coffee I will look at my list & see what there is to do.

I made a grocery list. I took it with me and dropped Teddy at school (where I wrote instructions on how to sew a skunk costume for an aide). Then off to the grocery store where I left my list in my van. I remembered everything on it but the half and half, so I am good. I can get the h n' h this afternoon when I pick Teddy up again.

Good afternoon, my day yesterday involved a call that DD and the kids all had the stomach flu....so off I went. Guess who has it today?

It snowed this morning, turned to freezing rain and now pouring rain....Mother Nature is confused.

Stomach flu is not fun at all. I hope it is the 24 hour kind.

Ugh! I hate the stomach flu. I hope it goes away soon.

I feel better already...apparently so does everyone else as well.

DH has informed me that he is going deer hunting this week coming. Whoohoo, a few days to myself to tackle something he wouldn't want me too.

And maybe you'll get a full freezer too! Whoopee!

Ah yes, Time alone AND a full freezer (I hope). YAY !!!!

I so miss having my deer meat. WE grind it all into burger, but still I miss having it. I so hope that he brings you home a big buck.
