Photobucket is now charging
users for the ability to embed their images on websites, such as our forums; users attempting to embed their images off of the Photobucket website will be greeted with this unfriendly image
We ask that users looking to post images in their signatures instead use our free
Picture Upload Service or the Attachment and Gallery features that are built into our forums.
Picture Upload ServiceIf you're logged into the forums our upload service will attribute your images to your forum user id, otherwise it'll attempt to link your images to you via your IP address; you can view your uploads on the
My Photos page.
You can view all user uploads on the
User Uploads page.
Currently the system does not support animations in gif files; this is something that I intend to work on when time allows.
Please Note: We do not allow the syndication of images off of the
A Gardeners Forum website; any attempts to embed images off site will result in the image just not loading.
Adding Attachments to PostsIf you're wanting to add images to your posts or topics you'll want to make sure that you're on the "New Thread"
OR if you wish to add an image to a reply, you'll want to go to the "Full Editor Page" (the basic "Quick Reply" box does not allow you to upload attachments)
Use the "Attachment Manager" (look at the
Post Options section)
Use the "Select a File to Attach" button to select your attachments; you will click the "Done" button to stop adding attachments and return to the post/thread creation page.
Please Note A Subject and Post body are required to make a new posting or response to a posting.
Adding Images to a Gallery ForumGallery forums do not allow attachments to responses, as all images are shown in a gallery format; to create a new Gallery Thread visit a
Gallery Forum and click the "New Image Gallery" button
On the resulting page click "Image Manager" (look at the
Post Options section)
Use the "Select a File to Attach" button to select your images; you will click the "Done" button to stop adding images and return to the Image Gallery creation page
Please Note A Subject and Post body are required to make a new posting.
