I hope I posted the picture correctly, so you can see how bad this plant is. I've had this plant for about 21 years and it was once big an beautiful. A few years ago, I started losing a leaf at a time and it finally stopped reproducing leaves. I am down to 2 leafs and about to lose one of those. Any idea what I can do to save it? Or is it just at its end? It is sad to lose such an old friend, but I have done everything I can think of to revive it. Any advice?

I tried posting pictures earlier but had to get instructions to be able to do so...This is a plant I've had for 21 years, and it used to be big and beautiful. A few years ago, it started losing leafs and it is now down to 2 and losing on of those. After 21 years do I just need to let it go? I really am not sure what it is, when I got it, it just said Chinese plant. I have tried everything, any advice?

That's a Chinese Evergreen plant.
Can you see any insects in the soil. They are a tough plant and usually drop leaves with over or under watering and too cool of temps. Had it been moved prior to it starting to wilt?

No, don't see any insects in soil. The soil has been changed more than once trying to downsize the pot, due to losing leaves. Do you think it is just too old to continue on, being about 21 years old? And since I started losing it a few years back, I know we have moved but probably not when I started losing it. maybe some root stimulator? I don't know, I think I have tried everything.

Every time a plant is repotted it gets stressed...especially downsizing it. Honestly, if it was mine I'd just let it rest. I'd cut it back to the best leaf and fingers crossed it recovers. Sorry.
