We had the most awesome time Saturday. The company Jeremy works for, Advics, sponsors a race car that was at the Kentucky Speedway. The race team owner hooked us up with all access passes for the day. We parked in the infield and spent the day there where all the cars, drivers and teams were at. You can only imagine how exciting this was for Brennan. The driver, Sean Caisse, is phenominal. Not only is he a fantastic driver but a wonderful person, too. He took so much time with Brennan really making the experience unforgetable for him. He sent him home with a couple autographed pictures, hat and an actual piece of his car! Our guy was in 3rd place in the last lap of the race. As he passed the car in front of him and was making his way towards 1st another driver crashed him into the wall. We went to the garage after the race. Even though Sean was obviously disappointed how the race ended he still thought of Brennan. He took the time to have his crew cut a piece of the car off and autographed it with the message, "Hope you had fun at the track. Thanks for being my fan bud!"

How wonderful! and it looks like the weather couldn't have been better for it.

Yes, the weather was perfect. It was about 70 degrees and sunny all day. Not too hot, just right!

Wow, what a fun day for you all. But especially Brennan. And that driver has a fan for life, too. Great pictures.

Yeah, he saw Sean's website. They have a professional photographer that travels with them. He was around the whole day taking pictures Saturday. I'm sure they'll update his website soon. Wouldn't it be awesome if Brennan's picture ended up on his site?

Brennan dressed up as Jeff Gordon last Halloween. I bet this year he'll be Sean Caisse!!

Sean drives for Hattori Racing Enterprises. His car is the Advics and Aisin sponsored car.

He wants to redecorate his room now with NASCAR. We have to drill a couple holes in his car piece so we can hang it up. It has a lot of jagged edges on it. He got the piece that the other car hit so it's a bit mangled.

That is really sweet.
DId Jeremy take the huge camper there?

No camper this time. He's really wanting to take it to a race. It would be cool.

It's so cool that he got to go to this event, and that he has such an interest in racing and Nascar. I'm glad that the driver was nice to him, sounds like he went out of his way to be nice. I know many of the pro drivers aren't all that nice....

Did he wear headphones to block out all the racing noise? It can get LOUD there huh?

My best friend called me a few weeks ago from a nascar race and it was so loud I couldn't hear her...I knew it was her from the ID, but all I could hear were engines roaring.

My nephew makes a yearly thing to the race in Virginia......Not a close seat , but he gets there.

Pocono in Penna some friends go to.....Like you say , noisy.........
I don't think I could sit that long.

He had ear plugs for the race. It is very loud.

I live about about a fourth of a mile from an interstate highway, and I hear the biggies roar up and down all day, so I can imagine........We turn the sound down on the tv to watch the races....

However yes it is a nice sport to watch.

I don't think that I could stand the crowds at a Nascar race. I'm claustrophobic.

Rachel---I hope he keeps liking Gordon as a Nascar driver. I'm glad he's into racing though, it's great---and nice for a boy to watch.

Brennan and Jeremy are all about Sean Caisse now. He came from NASCAR to drive for Hattori Racing. The team owner told us the only difference in the ARCA series he is in now and NASCAR is sponsorship money. If the sponsors are willing to pay enough it bumps them up to NASCAR. Apparently they paid him quite a bit to leave NASCAR to drive for them. So they must see that he has the potential to get enough exposure to pull in even more big sponsors. I wouldn't be a bit surprised to see him giving Jeff Gordon a run for his money in the next couple of years.

What other kid in the world gets a piece of a wrecked car that's autographed?That was a really cool thing for him to do,,!!!!!, and what other kid in the world's Mom would let him bring a piece of a wrecked car that big into the house,, looks like he had a pretty great day going and coming back home!
