Hi all,
My neighbor who is in the general vicinity, Mr. Vic, is at it again with his gorgeous hanging baskets this time. He called a few days ago to say he was having a plant sale Sat. & Sun. So, I got first digs on some beautiful hanging baskets for sale thanks to Vic. He mainly had hanging petunias, had a few hanging trailing vincas (had to have one of those too flwr.) Vic is the neighbor who I purchased my dinnerplate hibiscus from last year. He said he will have them in June sometime.

Thought I would share with you the love Vic has for his gorgeous hanging baskets and raised and had for sale this weekend.

Take a look.

I went a few days ago to purchase my plants. I decided it would be a nice gift for mother's day so off I went today, Saturday.

I want you to know Mr. Vic was just about sold out. Good thing I went back today! He was taking down his arbors when I got there and had only three left. Whew. :shck:

WOW beautiful, thanks for sharing.

Makes me look forward to my plants soon. We still have cold here so it will be a while before I see beauties like that.

Diane,
Thanks, glad you enjoyed! These pictures do not capture what I actually saw. I'm sure glad Mr. Vic knows who to call first! winky

jonni13,
Thanks, glad you enjoyed.

rosepetal,
Thanks. Hope you get warmer weather soon so you too can enjoy petunias.

patunia,
Thanks winky

Joni P,
Hope you see warmer weather soon. When will petunias bloom in Iowa?

Hey Penny,
winky Thanks!

sibyl, I did get lucky there! These baskets need water daily. Mr. Vic said when we get 98 degree weather, it will be bye bye for these beautiful petunias. I'll try to keep them cool thru the summer grin

Triss,
Thanks. It was an incredible sight. I asked Mr. Vic if I could return with my camera to take pics and he said sure.

dodge,
Thanks. The baskets were half that price! winky

Hope all enjoyed! flwr flwr

Will take pics of my baskets when we get sunny weather for good shots. Stay tuned.
