Whooo hoo!!! I got my box today!!! It's from Christy (Sibyl).
There are some wonderful things from her. Give me a few minutes to take pictures and get them posted.
Thank you Christy for all you sent. The box (in the box) is beautiful!

This one is pictures of the gifts. Part of the gifts are for sewing and part are for crosstitch.
She sent lots of fat quarters, blue christmas fabric (how did she know I plan to make a Blue Christmas Quilt?)thread and various supplies I had asked for. If she had stopped the gifts right there I would have been very happy.
Christy (Sibyl) also sent crosstitch material for a beginner. Everything I'll need to get started including two kits! This is all wonderful, no need to buy anything right now.

Christy also sent a fabulous box she had hand painted just for me. You'll see it's personalized. I'll have to make sure Diane (angelblossom) sees this.
This is the top and the right side. I have pictures of the left side, latch side, hinge side, and back if you want to see them. Everything is outlined in "stitching lines" as if they were quilt squares. This box is amazing.
Thank you sooo much Christy.

I know who the third for the day is.... I haven't even opened the box yet, but it's from Wendy aka Faerywatcher! I'm so excited. Will get pics up in a bit!
Alrighty. I got some real cool 3-D scrapbook stickers, more stickers with butterflies and flowers on them, a whole slew of pretty glitter pens (I'm a doodler so that is awesome!), a lovely stationary pack with a magnet, pen, stationary, and a cute little journal/book, some jolly ranchers original flavors (which happen to be the only good flavors), glue sticks, and she made me a cool bookmark with beading on the end that hangs over the top of the book - I already stuck it in the book I'm reading (it's a cookbook but whatever! ), and a cool little pink tin box full of earth-toned brads, and a cool little suncatcher she made that she calls "fairy drops". I'm putting that in my window above the kitchen sink!
Here is a close up of the items she made, the bookmark, fairy drop, and the pink tin. Oh, yeah, I forgot to mention, she decorated the top of the tin with some small pearls and a... a.... cameo? I think that is what it is called. A silhouette of a woman.
Last but not least these rub-ons. I actually had them in the cart when I was buying Loz's stuff but DH gave me "the look" so I put them back. And now I have them again!
I think it's great when someone buys you something you almost bought yourself.
All those gifts look great, faerywatcher did a great job on picking out what to send!

Should we have a thread that shows what we all do with our new craft supplies?
I'd like to see what everyone does.
What does everyone think?

Shirley I miss my mom a ton...especially when we talk on the phone at least twice a day and I usually see her once a day. I'm glad she's having a nice time though.
A bead picker upper is not something I've ever heard of but I bet anyone who works with beads would love to have one.
Such a wide variety of gifts too.
And the first Willy of the swap! He's adorable.

What is a bead board? Do I want to get me one for my beading?
YES. Its in my first pic between Santa and Willy. It has grooves you lay your beads in to lay out your jewelry without a sneeze or bump rolling them across the table, down the hallway, into the heat duct.....

bout 5 more peoples to go wonder who will get theirs tomarrow!!
I told her a ton of times to sell them....they are really great and she'd do well and make a lot of money selling them--I think people would snap them up...either at craft fairs or sell them to a craft store to sell.
so there were what? 5? boxes received today? guess what? there should have been six but someone was left a "pick slip" instead so they get to wait one (or) more day (s)
Very nice gifts everyone!! There will be lots of busy hands in the group!
I think the pink slip may be me!! I have notification that there is a box at the post office for me. I will slip by and pick it up on my way home this afternoon!
I am EXCITED!!
Hope everyone has been well.

Yayyyy! Wrennie got her package! I'm glad that you liked everything Wrennie! I know it was a little early for the santa but I really like him so I thought you might too! I had never seen a bead picker upper before either but I haven't gotten into the beads yet. I thought it might come in handy for some small beads.
I got my package yesterday too after I got home from work. Sorry I didn't come on last night to tell you about it but my dial-up is so slow at home that I can't hardly stand to use it and I would have been there all night uploading pics.
My package came from Triss! She did a wonderful job! I love everything!
I got a bunch of scrapbooking paper, some borders, picture adhesive, scrapbooking scissors that cuts the cool designs, a snowflake punch and some cardboard punchouts with different things on them for scrapbooking. Then I got some paint brushes, a scissors set, a cross stitch kit and some hoops, and some cool eyelash yarn!
This is what she made me! 2 dishcloths and a pot scrubber! I love homemade dishcloths so they will come in handy and I had never seen a pot scrubber like that. It is very cool!
(I have some catching up to do as I was not online yesterday at all.)
