I think the head thing was in your rare storage room, maybe it wasn't Egyptian at all. lol Maybe it was something totally different...there were 3 of them I think.

You have the COOLEST stuff ever in your rooms though, seriously you do.

That Christmas tree is way cool!!!!! I hope to buy all kinds of stuff like that at the holidays.

I've been praying for you all and Jonni. kissie

Ahh those. I have a bunch. They are hand-carved lion statues. An easy send. I will send it and leave it to you to place. I have my original in my Medieval throne room. But it's so dark it is hard to see. Might show up better against a lighter background.

Thank you! kissie

I never started one because it just seems like it's hard to catch all the stuff for the science theme.

Thanks Tina, you are the webkinz gift fairy for sure!

It was all those cards. I got hooked. Shhh, don't tell anybody. It was my own money but a silly-ish way to spend it.

Loz, don't come to me for support. Jonni wanted a polar bear and her own account. I got her one for Christmas. But the other day I added it to my account, I was a little mad at her.

I keep thinking I could buy another one before Christmas for her. Gotta stay strong though, I don't want to spend more money on another Webkinz---I'm hoping that I get one or two for Christmas myself. lol

We ended up with 2 new additions today. We got a hippo and a gray/white cat. That's in addition to the frog we got yesterday. I think he's up to 21 pets now. He's accumulated a nasty amount of KC buying them all. So, we're ready for a new room theme if it comes out. If not, I'm still trying to get some egyptian stuff when I can catch it.

You are sounding a little like me, Rachel. First it was 'Ted's' pet. Then it was 'our' pet. Now it is 'my' pets.
Is he going to wait until Oct to register his frog as the pet of the month?

He already had that frog. The one he got this week looks kinda like a bullfrog. He's excited about the pet of the month thing, but I don't think there is much left for him to buy.

The little tags on the pets leg (not the code) will tell you what type of pet you have. If it is a bull frog it will say bull frog.

I don't think they have a lil and big of all of them. But if it makes him happy and keeps him occupied sometimes, that is all good.

At first I thought he was wasting all of his bday money buying them, but he really does enjoy them. He sleeps with ALL of them everynight. He chooses one to snuggle and asks me to choose another for him to snuggle. The rest sleep right next to him. He also plays online when he's inside. I'm sure he'll do more of that too when the weather gets cool. He really enjoys the tournament arena. So, I guess as long as he plays with them it isn't a waste of money. Goodness knows he could spend it on things much worse.

thought i'd sneak on to webkinz early and do the boring things to make some kc, and gratefully, they are "down" again, hopefully taking care of the numerous glitches that have been plaguing the site lately. my kinz have been gliding around the rooms as if upon unseen vehicles, standing in chairs and on their beds, just basically misbehaving! lol and entertaining at the same time.

I was also in at 7 am kinztime and no problems. I totally forgot to buy that screen yesterday, though. Early mornings make me an evening zombie.
I am glad you are on top of your mother's account, Rachel. I haven't been in for a while. As you took over more and more I backed off. It is a bit addicting. And a virtual world is soothing when the outside world is stressing sometimes.

I totally concur on that one!
how is "your world" these days? jonni come home yet? seems we had to kick the kids out 5-6 times before it "took"

No, Patunia. No word from the vagabond. I am not stressing over it as much as people think I ought to. I am getting a room spanking clean though. My adult kids never came back but for a couple weeks at a time to start new. So I lucked out there, I guess.

this stinks, i finally got the last card i needed for the challenge card bonus in the trading cards. and as usual, the screen froze, so i switched pets, came back to open the collection of trading cards and claim the car and it was already claimed off,(you won!) gone, poof, not in the dock, not sitting there waiting to be unlocked, but already gone, completely!!!! now what do i do? i am way beyond pee'd off. i am going to go change my password again and go over to the helpful site for webkinz to see if someone has an addy i can send this complaint to, but really, after all i have read, i would be willing to bet i am s.o.l.

I think Arte has a problem with me. I've needed 3 gems to get the Crown of Wonder. I've needed those 3 for 2 months now. For the last week, everytime I search I only get slag. I haven't gotten any gems for a week. I've been getting them fine in Mommy's acct. but I can't seem to get any in Brennan's. He's having a lot of luck in the charm forest, though. He finished his 2nd row yesterday. This morning he got a key that opened a door with 5 pods. There was 2 charms in them. This afternoon he got 100KC.

That is cool, Rachel. I run into dry streaks in the curio shop also. Today I am having tizzy-fits getting into and staying in WW. I'm going to reboot and see if that helps.

ok is anyone having gliding webkinz?
this is kinda annoying. the polar bear and panda are gliding rather than walking and the chihuahua is fine in one room, then the husky, frog, and terrier are gliding in the other house but the koala is fine. and the husky goes invisible all the time, and all the "gliders" stand in chairs and to sleep backwards. its just weird. really odd, been doing this for several days now. good thing is, the lil beasties cross a room in nothing flat! lol

I had that happen the other day with my frogs. It was really funny. But it stopped when I logged out and back in.
They are staying open late so we west coasties don't miss out. Too cool.

Webkinz is down for a long time today without the usual warning. They have added some interactive features and a new theme, Atlantis. Also in the Wshop they have the special items that you can get for the pet of the month exclusive items. Some really cool stuff.

Cool. I hope Brennan still has enough money to get the new stuff. He had almost 50,000 KC. I had bought the pharoh bed. Then, he bought several of the science couches the other night and blew a bunch of his money. We've been waiting anxiously for a new theme. I can't wait to see it. I still can't get in.

I am not too impressed with the new theme. I think they could have done a much better job of it. I can get in through the customer support page now.

If anybody has any doubles and they want to trade, let me know. Feel free to take a look in our stuff for anything someone might want. I have storage in the candy theme room and in the food storage room. I was trying to clean out the dock a little.

I was just coming in to bring this back up. I've heard that using the action tabs cause a lot of that kind of thing.
I am really missing my web buddies around here.
Did everyone get the golf cart today?
Have you checked out the new goodies that come with the pet of the month? Are you getting the POTM?

the store had black cats but they were all sold out and they promised to save me one when the next batch comes in. and i got the games under glass dining table with the codes tonite plus about 480 KC... SCORE! yep i have been missing this tremendously!

You want your accounts back, Loz? Or just to play games once in a while? Whenever you are ready.
The black bear for the POTM has to be the real black bear. Not the lil kinz one. I figure to start a whole POTM account. They can all live together.
I went on Cindy's and Brennan's accounts this morning to click the big button. I went nearer the end of the hour for it to make sure I wasn't disappointing anyone.

I didn't mind, Loz. It really helped me through times that I've had. But if you are ready to take them back, they are healthy, happy and reasonably wealthy. I just did a job in the accounts about half an hour ago.

I adopted two frogs tonight on a new account. You receive your regular stuff, room, PSI, and exclusive. Then you receive a special box with your POTM things a bag of cash, the POTM exclusive and a new recipe food. For the 2 frogs the total cash was over 7,000 KC. I got the moving picture with one. It's cuter than I thought it would be. It looks like kids (pets) playing outside a window. The second frog item was the snowflake machine. That is pretty cool too. I cannot remember now which two new recipe items I got but they are pretty nifty looking too.
If you adopt a POTM can you share your experience here, too?

The new POTM stuff sounds neat. I'm going to have to find the bear for Brennan for November. He wants that pogo stick that comes with the frog. If any of you guys get that, I'll be willing to trade handsomely for it.

I finally got a step closer to the crown of wonder. I've needed three gems for the past three months. I finally got one of them this weekend. Keeping my fingers crossed for the other two. He's really wanting that crown.

I haven't seen a pogo stick. The POTM prizes do have a unicycle type thing. And it isn't something you choose. You get whatever comes in your package. I want donut seeds.
And the lil kinz don't work. they need to be regular Webbies unless Ganz says lil kinz is the pet.

Maybe it was a unicycle. It is red and white striped like a candy cane. He liked those donut seeds, too. You know how much he likes the ride on toys. He wants the new german shephard, too. I think he has his eye on that police car he comes with.

Although the Shepard is cute too!

Yes Tina, I did see that! kissie Confusing as heck, but I've been doing it....I found a charm in there last night...a virtual one. thumbup

Anyone else like the Home before Dark game? I'm just about addicted to it now. lol I think my high score on that was near 2,000. why

I haven't seen the collie yet. I'm sure he'll have to have that one, too. I like the new game. I got to level 9 and a little over 4000 points lastnight. It's a lot like a game I used to play on a gaming website called Rocket Mania. Brennan got really frustrated with it. I think it's a bit hard for young kids. I guess Ganz has figured out they have a lot of adults addicted to their site now.

Wow Rachel that's a GREAT score! clap I think it's tough for the little ones too, but I really like it. lol One of my best friends and her boyfriend(both in their 30's) are addicted to WEbkinz....her mom and dad both have one each and play all the time. Lots of adults out there. lol

Google Webkinz Collie Dog and you'll see it.....it's SO cute. I mean it's the one I MUST have out of all the new ones coming out!

I wish we had some place to get new ones. There are only 2 places here that carry them and neither place has gotten any new ones since we've lived here. We just lucked into the black cat. The jewelry store had just started carrying Webkinz and that was in their first shipment. They still haven't gotten anything else. I was surprised that there aren't more places here to get them. That's all this area is is shopping.

There are lots of animals I'd like to see---Giraffe, Rhino, Alligator, Sheep(could be cute and wooly), Octopus(boys would like that), any you'd like to see?

Cool list Rachel....there IS a penguin afterall! clap

A dolphin would be cute---a long time ago I read that there was supposed to be a butterfly but I guess maybe that was a rumor too. Although that would be very cute flying from room to room! lol

Oooo, I need that Collie even if I have to buy it online. Turtle and Seal might be cute too.

Well, I got the black bear for November. I'm going to put it up. Otherwise, Brennan will want to enter it now. I also got on the list for the collie, german shephard and reindeer. I lucked out on the reindeer. They are getting 300 and I was #299.

Webkinz just shut down for maintenance. I read today that numerous problems were being reported with the POTM. People are having problems getting their loot bags, or getting empty loot bags. So, if any of you have the frog you may want to wait until tomorrow to enter it. It would be ashame to have got the pet for the goodies and not get them.

its our 25th anniversary, so i missed the coupon, the KC and finally logged the new frog in. we got the unicycle thing, the ribbon tree and the quindidot food thing plus the cool water bed pond and the balloon.
um the frog is 'PUDDLES" (groan)
tracy fixed our lunch today, 2 ham and cheese sandwiches with chips and milk, she was so proud of herself! i didn't even help one iota, i just told her what i wanted to eat and kinda ignored her while she bustled around and did her task, and she stayed on task completely...it was awesome!

That is so cool, Patunia. Are you home now? I thought you were still settling your mom's estate.

i thought i had filled you in, Tina!
i had 2 realtors on the look at the house, one was telling me i needed to invest 30,000 to "update" BEFORE we listed to get the most bang for the buck.... the other realtor said, (because he was LISTENING TO ME) that he knew of an Investor that might be interested in getting the house as-is. i said please call HIM!!!
the man was on the front porch in 2 hours, walked through the house and chatted with us for 15 minutes and made an offer. i talked to my men (Dad and Hubby) and we all concurred to go-for-it. we closed less than a week later, he paid cash, Tracy and i headed for home the next morning. that was on the 19th. we have been home a week and a half almost, we have unpacked and settled her completely, and save for one major meltdown, we are all doing pretty dang good. every day her little spirit lightens even more, and she loves doing her webkins stuff and trying to read things and memorise her new address. as you say, "it's all good".... honestly.
and i can't thank you enough for the support, the cards and the caring during that time, you really gave me a boost when i needed it!
we are trying to take care of all the loose ends now, getting tracy started into the system here, so she can have a life and possible job of her own in oklahoma...
there's a few more weeks of paperwork to pursue to get her ssd and medicare taken care of then we need to get her evaluated and get her a caseworker assigned then its "game-on" !!! i am really excited for her, and she is having a ball, we go places and do things every day and she has been basically locked in the house with mom for the last 3 years. she has a smile on her face all day now. it makes me happy, and a little sad/remorsefull all at the same time. so many wasted years for her! i know this is off topic for webkinz but that has alot to do with her "coming out" too, you know?

Tina, maybe you can help us. I had went to the w shop to get the rest of the Atlantis stuff. As I was checking out, I got booted. When I logged back in, part of my stuff I bought was there except for the toy chest. It did charge us for it. How do I contact them to try to get the KC back or the toy chest?

I think it was only 250 KC, but still I work hard to keep his money up in that acct. lol

It could have been worse, we could have gotten robbed of everything we had bought.

Webkinz support.com. I will be back soon with a ph. number if you want that, too, Rachel. They have so much going on now with the new stuff. I don't know when/if they will get your KC back to you. A lot of people woke up this morning to find most of their cash gone, sometimes hundreds of thousands. They are putting those accounts back together as fast as possible.
