mine isn't full shirley, it has been, but when they get leggy it is because they are reaching for the sun. try putting a light above yours. i grow mine in full sun.
Mine sits in full sun in my window but that is only for half a day, until the sun goes over the roof. That's the only place it can be in an apartment. I don't have anywhere to put a light over it either. I will just have to be leggy then; I still love it and think it's beautiful!
This one is a native ground cover here on the west coast. It is called Suksdorf's Sorrell (Oxalis suksdorfii). It is much smaller than other oxalis species with nice yellow flowers.
Yesterday I separated my beautiful Oxalis !! I now have a medium sized one, two small ones and one bulblet planted alone. This morning int the sun my biggest one is not opening its leaves out like it did every morning!!!! The little flower bells opened thought, so I guess I didn't KILL it!!!!
Maybe it is kind of in shock, and needs another day or two to get over it.
The two small ones aren't opening their leaves either!!
No you didnt kill the biggest one. The largest ones shock the most.......My purple will die down like dead and in a month or so......Just pop out beautiful.
Should take a start in the shade the first day or so .. Sun is a bit strong for a transplant..A day or 2 of shade is good on any transplant.
