Sometimes at night flowers take on a different 'Look' and then there are flowers that only bloom at night..

Like the Moon flower Vine

Awesome shots, Cinta.
I want a moon garden. So many white blooms have the most wonderful scent at night. I have the spot picked out for it, just have to get water to it.

WOW!clap Stunning photos!
I love to spend evenings out in the garden,
thanks for letting me visit yours. grin

You all have such beautiful plants,
here are a few more from N. Carolina:

Hedychium coronarium, Butterfly Ginger
[Linked Image]

Dichorisandra thrysiflora, so called "Blue Ginger"
[Linked Image]

An Amaryllis, taken back in the spring,
[Linked Image]

And one of my very favorite night-blooming flowers,
Epiphyllum oxypetalum, "Queen of the Night" -
I thought this pic was cool because it turned out to have
a sort of an under-the-sea look about it.

Those are awesome shots. Great job Zuzu. My butterfly ginger haven't bloomed this year. It was just too dry here in Cal. They are still alive to bloom another year though.

thanks on the pictures, having fun with this night time shooting clap

the mini bells is a very small petunia. You don't have to dead head it or anything. I love it. I think its called million bells at some places.

I thought this was cool because it looks like the petunias are different colors when in fact they are in the same pot and white.

I do too. One of my favorite pictures of my daughter was a mistake. The camera hadn't been completely closed after the film had been put in and it looked like God's Light was shining down on her. It was of course.

It's a pink flamingo. It's doesn't hold flowers, they're in the background.

Question ?
Are you using Digital cameras?????????? That is what I have ......I put many miles on that thing in 2 years ..............
Really fun.......It has a memory card in it and I take it everywhere.. Go shoppin and want to find something I take a photo an show my HD and he tells me what he thinks......Ha thumbup
Lots of times..........However if your using film cameras, that is another story.

The picture I was talking about was pre-digi age. My digital just bit the dust this week. My scanner for photos sucks. Actually it is just fine but getting the pics from there into my computer is a problem.

I didnt have a scanner to go to the computer till last weeek.....I seen one on sale and got it ....Scans, and send photos to the computer email..

I have the regular camera also, but it won't do nite photos at all like the digital.......

shock

I find my salvia likes the east side of the house ..Morning sun.. I have it there yearly and my husband loves the red red of it.
Thanks.....

Right now I have 4 types of salvia......
Lady in red / arrow
Blue o black
and the red you see.......

Oh the fushia colored one I just got from my sister.
And NYMPH .....it is a peachy white one.......I love them all.

Blue black is a perennial.. The nice red comes back from seed at times.

Diane - those brugs are absolutely STUNNING!!!!!! WOWZERS!!!

The colors are beautiful, and the shapes, and the sizes - JUST PLAIN WOW!!!

Sheri - I knew about people/kids using salvia to get high from my son when he was in high school. One day I was talking about salvia in the house, and he asked which of my plants they were - I asked why he wanted to know, and he told me about their effects, and I never did tell him which ones they were!!! uhuhh shock rspb

I had heard that also. Also, you can make tea from the brug's leaves. It is so toxic it will kill you. Kids do the darndest things.
