Sheri I love the color of your 4oclocks ( the solid ones )is that a fushia color>>?? It would really stand out mixed in with my yellow 4oclocks. If you have seeds from them would you want to trade any seeds of flowers that you've seen I might have??
I posted these blooms taken at night in the Night Picture thread Here they are in the light of day...

your Brugs r sooooo soooo beaaauutiful...! n mine refused to bloom..!!! ..n they r in full sun... but i guess full sun in Malaysia is certainly not d same s full sun in your area!! Should have thot of that b4 huh..!? They r in very very large pots n their roots have grown out of their pots into the ground...so would b very difficult to move....
Oh i envy u your blooms....!!

Well... one cosolation though...my long..long awaited orchid has bloomed... not very fond of orchids coz they r rather shy to bloom for me... i see other people's r always blooming...!
same plant...just a slightly different angle.....

Here it is.....after all the damage and loss to my gardens this year, one lone little seed fell from a bird feeder and grew. it is only about 14 inches high but as pretty as can be.
~~Tam~ You can bury all your troubles by digging in the dirt.
very pretty. Your bee's jubilee is alot lighter than mine.
IT is lighter than most I've seen Tamara But that is what the package said when I planted last year,, I wonder if the lightness varies with soil or sun or maybe they put the wrong one in the package,??

These Moon flowers were still open at 11 this morning ,, Very unusual to stay open that long at 1pm they started closing,, I suppose with cooler nights and morning they will stay open longer,, I have been looking for seeds on these since they started blooming in late spring. I have kept an eye on the flower itself after it's spent, then on the vine when it drops off and NOThing,, No pod no browned anything,, I want seeds from these I just can't figure it out,, I have had many many blooms does anyone know where I might find the seeds ???
Butterfly bush bloom

I planted a honey suckle bush this year, hope it looks like yours Lynne I think its the same one. Got it from a friend who wasn't too sure what she had.
nmlAlba-dC15 your flowers look so beautiful....thanks for sharing, here in our world the only flowers we see right now are those you share.
Kindness is a language the deaf can hear and the blind can see.
Thanks everyone! This one is called goldflame, and I got it because of the colors years ago. My hummers love it too! But they are all gone for this year...
I don't have much left in bloom outside, but did find a few nice surprises indoors today. I rarely have been able to get an African Violet to rebloom after purchasing it, so I'm thrilled to see this today.
And this is a baby from that plant - my very first AV baby ever! I had placed this leaf on the soil in the large jade plant near the mother, and it actually sprouted a baby! Hope it continues to do well!
And LOOK at this Thanksgiving cactusflower - first time ever that this particular plant is in bloom. I've had it for a few years, but it never really grew much nor bloomed. I love how it's almost white with just the slightest tinge of pink to it.
wow Lynne the Thanksgiving cactus looks Lavender to me and I see more buds on it,, The camera must have taken a purple Hue to the flower,, I like what I see!

Brought my Tropical Hibiscus and Confederate rose in when temps fell. This is what is blooming in my kitchen bay window today. Hibiscus Hibiscus and confederate rose
this Weekend and Next weekend It will be time to cut down and cover all my brugs,, You have NOOOOOOOOOOO idea how this is going to hurt to have to cut them down to the ground I started these with 6 inch starters I had to root, then pot them up and let them frow for a couple of months then plant in ground in the spring,,, and watch them grow, and bloom,, This picture I took today is the third Flush since July,,
Charles Grimaldi,, Best flush of blooms yet!! The upside down bucket is was a brug to0 Pink Beauty)( I have already cut down and stuffed the Bucket with leaves to over winter it,, soon this CG will be the same!!
These are unnamed Pink and snowcone,, looking at them for one last time this year,,
"Grace without perfection is more to be desired than perfection without grace."
that's what i said diane. and there was another bud, but i haven't looked to see if it made it. that is the most neglected plant i have, and it just grows and blooms to spite me
Diane, I love your Cotton Candy brugs better than any of the other colors!! They are all beautiful, but that's my favorite one!!!
Thanks Shirls,,,,,,,, It smellllll sooooo sweet too!!
Jiffy have you pruned that rose bush this year??? I have roses blooming also.. It was only cold over TG holiday,, and it's back in the 70-'s again,, Confusing a lot of flowers here,, I have the same marigold bloomimg over and over again since spring,, I've never had them last so long,,
and One of the rose bushes that didn't bloom well spring season,( past years it always did) is now blooming,, Weird how that happened so late in the fall ..
"Grace without perfection is more to be desired than perfection without grace."
...Jiffy have you pruned that rose bush this year??? ...
i didn't prune it this year or last year. i'll get it soon, i know it needs it. it is another "grows in the weeds" plant. but i love rose bushes. one day, i'll have zillions of them!
my cactus just dropped all its buds...i guess its not getting enough lite??
well good news is I have three different pots of paperwhites blooming (one in one pot, one in a glass dish with two others, and one in a pot which is blooming the second time) i don't see anymore flowers blooming underneath all this snow

your camellias r simply stunning...emm make me green with envy...s my cutting that i planted sooo long ago...hadnt done anything...it had two glossy green leaves on when planted...n these 2 stayed on the cutting sooo very long...until recently one dropped leaving d other alone...but m not gonna pull it out until it has turned black n i m sure it's a goner.... BUT IT HAS BEEN SOOO VERY LONG..!!
BTW...remember my promise to u...since spring is just around d corner...n i know u all r ready to b sowing again....so this morning i made a stop at d PO n posted d seeds i promised...they r yellow, white n pink 4 O' Clocks (plus some Purple Hyacinth Bean n Butterfly Pea flowerseeds)...sorry i cant guarantee d seeds will grow true to d parent plants...s they all grow together in d same garden.....
Have a nice day..!

You have a great memory. I had totally forgotten about that.
Do you think I can root you a camellia? The branches are not close to the ground or I'd lay a rock on one and see if it would root in the dirt. I'll have to cut a branch off to root it.
oooh thanx for d kind offer...but no thank you.... primarily coz i don't think d cutting would b able to withstand d long journey to malaysia..it would be such a waste of your effort then...
secondly...think d cutting i have is not picking up becoz ...well could it b becoz Camellias doesnt like our heat n humidity...? Sighh...well...i m such a stubborn old lady who doesnt want to give up despite what... or may be d location it is in doesnt get enough sun for it to grow...? It is rather shaded from d sun but does get some morning sun... what do u think..?

I think they don't like the heat. Here they bloom in the winter, even in the snow.

Life isn't about how to survive the storm, but how to dance in the rain!! .....
could it b that we do have a somewhat similar climate condition...? ..n does your camellia grow well...n bloom well?? Aaww i m sooo jealous...!!
i will have to content myself with what i have here....this is a Pereskia...it is believed d leaves have anti-cancer properties...n i know of a woman who boils d leaves n drink d water s remedy for her hypertension...said hospital medicine makes her sleepy...i sometimes eat d leaves raw...should make it a habit...but...
..n here r some pics of another of my orchids...ahh this one is fragrant especially in d evening...
Enjoy...n have a nice day everyone.....

Alba, I received the 4 o'clocks, butterfly pea and hyacinth bean seeds today. A great Valentines Day present.
I have had this Jade plant about 4 years. About a month ago it lost all its leaves (Petals) thought it was dead then saw new foliage forming now it is in bloom.
Notice the very small pink blooms.
Meet Clyde my Male Sugar Glider. Clyde says Keep it organic.
Diane I don't know all I know for sure the tag read jade when I bought it and a couple of people said it was a Jade. You know more about it then I do if it is I will gladly change its name in my photo bucket let me know. It wont be the first thing I bought that was labeled wrong.

Dodge - I posted pictures of some snowdrops that were blooming at the end of my street last year - they were sooooooo pretty! I don't have any, but will look for them this year when the bulbs are for sale in the fall.
Was curious, cause someone told me they werent worth the bother.. I never seen them in person.......Are they bulbs also?
I may of seen those last year.........I have looked at so many things online, it is hard to remember who did it ?????????? Kinda like a murder mystery..
a lot more flowers on the spirea. Look back at the picture I posted the other day. It doesn't take long. I've noticed that the digitalis didn't come up this year. I'll have to get some more. I love that plant.
