First off we only have 56 acres and the church cemetary to farm.. The church inherited the field next to us and dont use it so we farm that too.......We actually grow corn and hay in the Church cemetary.......Ha ha.. So we do get to run the 4 wheelers in the cemetary.... We also have radio, 911 towers and water tanks in the middle of our farm.. Not our choice......However makes a nice road to ride on ....... I will hunt for my cow photo to show you the beef cattle........ b

Very nice Dodge, Red Hereford's I am assuming? How many heads of cattle do you have now? I know I'm just so full of questions.

We use a 4 wheeler also, best thing we've ever bought(in my opinion). We have a Honda 400 Rancher as a matter of fact.

Tamara: Your correct on all questions and answers in both quotes. Herefords .yes.....easiest to raise and feed and dont like to be in the barn even in the winter. Now my largest Bombadier(mispelled) is a 450 and has either a 2 seater or the bed for Hauling ..Removable 2 seats for both of us in case he breaks down in the field and needs a ride home..ha ha You bet they are the best for convience......That an the Skid loader.. It has so many uses .....We build flower beds with it , clean the barn, level things, haul stones , dirt and even pick apples off the trees with it.. I liked the skidloader so much I got a Zero turn lawn mower...... It operates a bit the same .. So I do use both.. HO ROD is my name.........Loving it in Pennsylvania Farmer.......... Keep asking , I have a life experience on the farm. I am making applesauce and freezing it for winter, as well as freezing apples for pie. Picking grapes and making an freezing juice.mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm ok hot rod special...........

We just have an upseat on ours but it is a dual. It has standard(shift-on-fly) and automatic with just a flick of a switch. Amazing what you can pull with them when you have it in 4X4. We used to have a Polaris Sportsman but it was a two stroke and too loud. We have a Zetor tractor and a Massey bucket loader. Wish I had a skid steer, we rented one when we moved in here and I hit the side of the house with the bucket, touchy levers on those rigs I learned better once I started working at the dairy farm. We have no problems with keeping our cows in in the winter, mind you when it's -49*F out there, I'm sure they don't complain. Have you always raised herefords? We have two Black Angus, wicked creatures they are. Hoping to have all Red Herefords someday.

Ha ha Yes ours is 4x4 and that one is mine..Our Polaris and Honda are only 200 and 350 so they are his.... I use the honda to rake the yard and pull my lil homemade wagon I love .. Have to show you that invention. No we once raised milking cows till i got pregnant.. He said outta the barn. Turned to hereford. And we dont care for angus and the white ones. Too wild for us. Ours are all red ones ..I will try for a recent photo.. That was spring. Under 40 of them......... My daddy had a dairy Gurensy raw milk ........10 kids to milk by hand.....Ha ha me too .Before and after school. We lived hard and never regretted it.. learned lots . I did see the nice canadian dairys out there .. I once visited Montreal area.

I had a herd of 30 goats when I was a teenager and I occasionally had to milk some by hand. The Nannies didn't mind it much but those Billies sure hated it.
