Pretty Tamara! shots Looks good for a fake wreath. Looks good in general for any wreath actually but especially for a fake one.

That counts Carol. I put out the christmas towels in the bathroom and took out a few candles as well.

Oh yea--I can get to my Christmas doilys--(small doilies that go under my white bathroom items--soap dish, mouthwash, etc.)--the vanity is white as well--so this way all does not blend in--thanks for reminding me--!!!

I have Christmas window clings too!!!

I have a few other things to put out today as well.

I am hoping to get to the dollar store in town next week so I can buy some more decorations as well.

The good dollar store is almost an hours drive from here, but I do have to go to the butchers next week near it.

Hope everything goes good at the doctors office. kissie

Do any of you still put up stockings for the whole family?

OH, yes--I do. since my oldest was a small child, I have had stockings for the girls--(really rectangular draw-string bags that I made.) The girls stockings came with a tree skirt piece of cloth I bought to make my oldest a tree skirt for her little tree.

The Christmas after my oldest got married, I made 3 more stockings.--One for her DH, MY DH and one for an as yet un-named DH for my youngest-(she did not even have a BF at the time)--I must have been psychic--it went un-unsed only a short time--- bow

I think I will always hang & fill the stockings--I am the one who enjoys it---making Christmas for my family is MY Christmas. Even If I give money--I make sure there is 'something' to open. I like seeing the happy look on their faces.

Aww Carol, me too! A few years ago I bought and put names on stocking for EVERYONE in our family, not just the kids...then I went to the dollartree and bought little cheap things to fill them---I know it was cheap stuff, but all the adults were so happy having a stocking to open after the main presents were done....they'd all forgot I did stockings too. lol

I feel the same way too, Loz. I keep wishing somebody will get the hint & make me a stocking--but oh well--I really get my fun out of watching them--

and you are right--they are all grown kids (DH is the biggest) and the just light up when opening up their stockings---I think they like it best. And who wouldn't?? the bet part of gifts is NOT knowing what is inside & unwrapping them to she what is inside the package

hey--I just found my Ceramic Santa that has a bag fixed up to hold candy canes.
I just put it on the mantle---My Living room will look like Chriatmas yet !!!! clap bow

kissie Carol, glad you had help. I was worried you would tackle it all on your own and hurt yourself.

We finally got our tree on Tuesday and the kids decorated it. I took a couple of pics to share.

This is as much a close up of the tree I could get. A lot of the ornaments were handmade by the kids and their grandma.

This one I tried to make look pretty by getting the fire in the pic also. Looking at it now I guess I should have gotten the duraflame box out of the picture. Oh well.
