I received 4 cards yesterday from Kenny, Tkhooper, Loz, and Shirley. And I got one today from Nuria. Thanks everybody, my card holder is really filling up and I'm almost ready to hang a second one. I had to laugh at Loz's card though, she only addressed it to Seattle. There was no state or zip code, but it still found me. Oh yeah, I finally got mine out last night so everybody should start receiving them soon.

Cheryl, when I got my stuff out for Christmas I had saved your darling card from last year. It's so cute.

Cindy, did you get a card from me. Yours is one that went out on the first day I sent them and several people I sent to that day never received theirs.

I guess you will have to wait until someone you sent a card too does not get one from you. That is unfortunate because you sent a beautiful card. It really stands out on my mantel.

I have done that other years, but this year I just didn't have anything to share. with Fred hurting his back I didn't really have any cheery family news and didn't want to depress people at this time of year. I know some will be disappointed but maybe I can make up for it next year. Cinta letter told us a little about her self which was nice to know a little about her.

I am glad my cards are starting to arrive. I am a lost child around here so I thought a holiday letter would be helpful and fun to share a little bit of Cinta.

Wow Barb, they must not have put enough on it to begin with! I can't believe you had to pay! I like those singing cards a lot though.

BTW, if you didn't get a card from me you will! They are going out tomorrow, second batch.

Last year was a bad year. My purse was stolen early in the year and things started going crazy every month. My holiday letter that year to my friends and family was depressing. Every paragraph said "you know my purse was stolen" I figured it was what my year was like so they had to read about my bad year. They said they did not mind. LOL!!

You should never feel bad about sharing the joy and the saddness with your friends.

I put my purse on the desk and went to the office next to mine picked up an envelope and came back to my office and the purse was gone. It took me 2 min. I did not lock the door. I am too trusting. It is a small office complex. Only two laywers offices and a school board Management office.

Whoever did it was fast. I suspected the secretary from across the hall but could not prove it. It was too fast. The police said it was probably a woman because men throw the purse in a trash nearby a woman keeps the purse.

My BIL & SIL always did & do that--since they live out of state. now their kids and MY kids do the same. This year my oldest DD wrote stuff about my youngest DD--so thye little one will not have to---

I do the letters for the out of state cards i send--(this is where you all say--there was not a letter in MY card envelope. lol blush) But this year my printer was not hooked up to my computer--so I cut it down to 3 cards (in-laws) & hand wrote them--- rolz bow

I like toread the letters, --so I guess I should write one too, huh???

Well you called that. I think I went beyond crushed. I went into a depression for weeks. Even though I cancelled the card 15 min after they were stolen they were able to charge 12 hours at gas stations and Walmart they chaged over a thousand dollars. I was only responsible for 25. I had 500 in gift cards.

I could not travel because I did not have ID. I could not get my drivers lisense without a check and they would not open a new bank account without the DL. The Bank Manager watched me go into meltdown before his eyes. So he approved one check so I could get my DL.

The good Lord new I could not have another bad year so he gave me an amazing 2007.

madd

That is so sad.......Guess I didnt notice that last year, we were in a state of panic ourselves..Haley only weighed 5 pound and we feared for the worst.. After a few more months and few more pounds we started to relax.
Then the doc was scared she might get the flu going around they needed a 4000 shot.......Upset and didnt know if they should......They decieded not to take it and she never once got sick......To day she is 1 and a jolly lil girl ..

God does listen, he heard your prayer cinta.......Now have a marvelous christmas and new year.

I would of loved to send y'all cards but postage is a killer. Next year I will be prepared. I'll pick up a few stamps at a time here and there.

That being said, "I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas, Happy Holiday and the best New Year ever kissie "

I know what you mean I bought 4 books of stamps to get through the holiday season and 5 boxes of cards with 15 to 16 cards each in them. But I love sending out cards. It does pinch the budget but as you said I saved up each month a little bit so I had enough to do this.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Years to you and yours.....

:ding:

I buy stamps, say a book at a times, starting in the beginning of Nov.. then I don't have to hand out lotza money in the end........It helps.

Do you have to go out to feed the cows in the winter? An water them/
I am spared that....being he is retired ..
One or 2 cows would be enought to suit me......The neighbors act like our cows are the friendly zoo.....LOL
