I don't remember the last one. I know in 99 they had the army shovelling from Petawawa Army, I think 400 of them. They didn't cancel the buses, it wasn't a snow day. The north of us was hit lighter, and the south (the downtown core) was hit worse than us and they both cancelled their buses....we're in the middle of the two boards. Everyone was complaining today, even the teachers

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant. Mary Ann LaPensee
we got a total of 9 inches of snow and today was very cold with the wind factor. Snow and leaves that hadn't fallen off the tree blowing all over the place. The ski areas are just jumping for joy as we haven't had this much snow this time of year for several years. More snow for Thursday. I guess it doesn't know how to stop I wouldn't want to be a mail deliverer where you are eiher Tamara

Jiffy---- yep on our drive home saturday it was rainy/snowing/sleeting (just a bit). it changed so much because we were always driving thru places. we were on 55 south from Chicago.
90 minutes after we got home it was snowing real bad--I will go measure tomorrow to tell you how much snow we got, but it was enough--but by this afternoon all the main roads were clear--now the secondary are not so good--but if you are careful you can do OK--it was 31 today---(heat wave-- )

It's -20*C out this morning and drifting badly. DH was out at 4 am plowing roads. Our driveway is filled again, which means....barn work for me this morning followed by plowing my driveway again.

The weather man is saying we got between 6 & 8 inches of snow--at least in places---I think, here in Worden, we have something like 4 or 5 inches--everthing is white though--for sure !!

Snow is pretty but also messy. Apparently the storm from the other day dropped 18 inches on us......well they say snow makes good insulation. We're insulated good so far

-18*C this morning and it's snowing~ real pretty snow, the flakes are larger than an inch across and so light, it looks like feathers dropping from the sky.

it was 31º at 8 am Nothing happening and it looks like might sun. We have about 4 inches only bare roads, and a few drifts around.. The stupid ice is nasty.....Rain snow mix yesterday and today is calm , so far.
Gives you more time to quilt .Right. Do you go to town often?
My one friend goes one time a month .......But she goes to church weekly. now she is missing town. Only 69.
I only go to twon once a month Dodge, it is almost an hour away. We do have a little grocery store 15 minutes away that I go to twice a month as well. I haven't quilted anything so far this winter, I'm all out of material. Hopefully, after Christmas...
Still snowing..

Awwwwww please post some of your snow pictures....I love snow in winter and we hardly get much around here. Did snow lots when I was a child but now, I not sure if my kids know what a real snowbank looks like.

I only live 5 minutes from town yet it is a nice dead end street and quiet. I run errands once a week. I too hope to start getting more quilting done after the first of the year. In the morning I will try to get some snow pictures to post. sun should be out and it will be pretty
