Jiffy would you please tell me how to use the dog hair---I am sure my dog Dante` will not object to helping the cause--
and I will gladly take all the help I can get-

i wonder if you could super glue a few hairs to tooth picks or a q-tip ? thats a good idea! a few fine hairs would work great for small pices! im gonna try it

I did take pictures of most of the ones I did to post---but I have to get things set up (I know I have been saying that forever)--I am hopeful that the kids will fix up everything I need set up on the computer for Mom's day---

i dont have the girl, im workin on lazin back willy right now, hes being lazy layin back! lol
i was lookin for somthing fine to use when i was doing the tiny guys, their 2inches small, so their faces were a chalange! i plan to get moore, the willys im doin now are much bigger so their easier to do :}

Does anyone mind if I add stuff that's painted other than ceramics? Like wood or metal things? Don't want to confuse/hijack the topic---I paint anything I can find...

sorry i had a one track mind when i did the topic, but id love to see all diffrent kinda stuff!

I'm so slow and funny with my painting that I still haven't finished mine yet...and it's not even that hard or intricate......

I worked on it last night--don't have much to finish up now though.

One of my fav. things I painted were those metal leaves that home interior used to sell years ago...maybe they still sell them. I find them at yard sales and stuff.

Well I painted them up and they're great! I even have some painted autumn colors to put up in the fall.

Sure I'll take a pic of the ones I have up here in the living room...going to moms for a coffee, then I'll come back and do it!

Barb, mom not only lives across the street, but she's also a member here on the forum---Matriarch. We spend a lot of time together.

Okay, so here are the set of leaves I have up most of the year.....like I said I have fall ones too, but I have them packed away. I'm not crazy about the shiny gold look of the leaves(the way they were). So I just painted them up. One of my friends had me do it to the set she had too.

It's not like it was a hard or fancy paint job....but I like the way it totally changes their look. I paint EVERYTHING!

I used 3 shades of green and tied little wire flowers to them.

You come out smelling like a rose......

Nice work..My set is garage sale also ..But has a butter fly in each one......
I also have a stand with leaves , It was green leaves with the tips all way round (white)......
Now I have painted them sort of gold which you dont like.
