Well today is the day where meat is not allowed to be eaten for us. So it is oatmeal for breakfast, tuna for dinner and salmon for supper. Cindy, would you like to come over?

We had a wonderful service this evening! Near the end two elders of the church brought a wooden cross up the aisle and stood it up front, then two women of the church draped the purple, or blue cloth across the front and over the arms,(which will be changed Easter mornig for white), then slipped the crown of thorns over the top. Then each member of the congregation brought a slip of paper on which they printed something they needed to give up or correct in their lives (no names) and the men nailed it to the cross, symbolizing every sin for which Jesus was nailed to the cross. It was very moving!!

We had a traditional Catholic Liturgy, First the Way of the Cross, then a Long Liturgy, followed by the Veneration of the Cross, and Communion (I though you don't et communion during these three days :S) It lasted three hours, boy do my knees hurt from kneeling!

Helping the world one seed at a time

When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant. Mary Ann LaPensee
