junie, what is company potatoes?

sorry ---I was gone for awhile---

Comapny potatoes is a hash brown potato casserole that fills a 9 x 13 sized pan.

those square cut frozen hash browns---butter, onion, soup & shredded cheese---corn flakes crumbled--mixed with butter & put on top---popin oven til bubbly---ya want the recipe---or do you have it but perhaps call it something else???

I got a whole ham I'm gonna cook, don't know if anyone will come but we have invited all the kids and grandkids

I have half a ham ordered--gonna pick it up on saturday morning.

Kids are coming but they all have like 3 places to be in 1 day---

And big meals to eat at each one.

We've told them all to come but I really don't expect any to show.

hubby's all live 3 hours away and when OI talk to my oldest last night she said the baby fell and busted a lip and had to have stitches

I would take the recipe for the company potatoes if that is alright Carol!!

I have been eating the cadbury's eggs. The chocolate ones with the hard shell. They are so good!

Those canbury eggs my very favorite. I have been eating them all of yesterday & today.
I do make sure that Valarie gets 1 or 2 of the creme filled ones though.

I also love the Brachs marshmallow rabbits. You know the ones in purple foil that are chocolate covered?--there are 8 in a box I think???

Oh I know the ones you are talking about Carol! Those are good too! I have to quit eating these Cadbury eggs. Hopefully after everyone is here tomorrow they will be gone.

I, too, love the chocolate easter eggs, but since we don't celebrate Easter I wait until the day after and get them on sale - for at least 50% off. Not sure I'll be able to do that this year with this virus though.

Emily went to the dr on friday & got meds---Chris (her DH) stayed home from work on friday, sick- and my MIL is sick as well.---so I do not know how much family I am going to have around---but we shall see.---MOM & dad & my brother & his kids should be here & val & JJ---at least

I will try to enjoy the day anyway--although this is the first year in AGES that I have not sung in my churches Choir for Easter----but oh well there will be next year--I guess

I guess welcome to the club. Hd and I both have the sickies, will stay home for easter.

So your not alone, about everyone we talk to is having some sickie. Colds or flu or what ever.
Feels like I want to sleep all the time.

because I'm allergic to chocolate

Hoping everyone feels better real soon...this year has been awful for virus's.

Well, I have the chocolate allergy ........
I get a very sore mouth from it . It is still sore on one side, so no chocolate for easter here.....

I can eat so much , but if I eat it for more than a week, I am in trouble.
Or chocolate cake or chocolate on the Klondikes make me really sick. Almost throw up.

Chocolate, beach nuts and orange soda give me bad hives. Just not smart enough to stay away from chocolate.

i feel for you both... anything citrus, strawberries, tomatoes, pineapples, under-ripe peaches, and bananas do me in. but not chocolate.

Well count me in - I am allergic to dark chocolate - works like a charm everytime!

Tamara, Jiffy, Lynne---I'll tell you all what---since I am such a good friend to you all--I will do you this FAVOR.----I will eat all the Chocolate, Strawberries, Beach nuts,DARK chocolate, Tomatoes, Citrus---and drink the Orange Soda. All of this so you 3 will not have to. And I am doing this solely so you will not have to suffer from the allergic reactions !!!

I love chocolate....and to prove it, half the basket of caramel kisses is gone......

Gotta go to the in laws today, mom and dad are going with us---they were invited and that's good---nobody is coming in for Easter and now mom doesn't have to cook.
