Very dainty and beautiful. Whiter than white. Did you set all the stuff on your camera or use the default settings?

You did good. You can even see the little bit of purple in the center. I'm glad you got your horse back.

Are you wanting the info on the ISO which we spoke of?
I am going to take a photo of the ISO button on canon and email it to you.
Hang in there.

That is why I put my name on it....... b Some places won't take digital photos for contests......I cant wait to put this one to work in the yard, come spring and birds and blooms. MY Fujifilm camera would not pickup blues and purples colors.........But did a great job on close ups on outside flowers...... b

Barb, you are shooting pictures like a pro. That is gorgeous.
I wish I could decide which camera I want. I will make a decision before summer so I can take good pics of my gardens.

You can literally make an ant as big as a horse! I took these TINY little Wildflowers called Speedwell and made them look like Day lillies. I photograph anything and everything that catches my eye, not just birds. Here is a plant picture I took of a dead Poke Salet plant in my flower bed this week. I call it, "Sad Harvest II". Thanks alot........I like having fun with cameras.. Always did..
This is canon s5......However Ihave read that Nikon is just as good.. But really you can't go by that, cause we all know the more expensive the cameras are, the better they are.......Some pay 1000 for theirs, but I think you need profits to pay for toys that big.. I am just goofing for fun ..
b :ding:

I have to mess more with the macro..

Thanks again Barb, I know how they say if you pay thous for the camera it is soooo good. But I think you still have to have an eye to take a good pic. A great pic can be taken with a less expensive camera you are proving that. My problem is I am using my travel points so it does not cost me anything. If I had to pay cash, my pocket book would dictate which one I buy. I have enough points to buy the Thousand dollar one and I was going to go with the Nikon or the Cannon 10 MP. But I do not know if I want or need that much for what I like to do. It is time for me to upgrade. My old sony and the old olympia are not taking pics like they use to.

Right......
To each his own.....Everyone knows I use mine practially daily.. Just to goof . No profits here..... It is funny, but it is sort of like you said..What a person sees.
Once I knew an old lady who could do that see stuff on things, which we don't . Just in her conversation..........It was invaluable to listen to her talk. See an do I guess.
I won't recommend any.......I did see a Sony I almost got , but when I picked it up to use, I didnt like the color of things that it showed. I love the natural coloring of anything.......My little Finefilm.......is great , but not for the blue and purple color..And not for distance.......However it is still working fine, will be 3 this year.
It is how you want to use them.. The Macro on all cameras is so pretty.

I agree Cinta, that some people have an eye for taking pictures. (Off subject Cinta, I'm jealous of your job.)
My stepdad paid 1500.00 for his camera and it's taken him forever to figure it out. It takes great pictures but it's bigger and heavier than mine and I don't know if I'd ever use all the settings. I can't use all the settings on mine.
Now for a ?. You guys are taking these great pictures by just using the macro button?

That was my other concern...getting an advanced camera and cannot use it or do not need to use all the bells and whistles. Do you know which camera your stepdad has?

What I always say,, if in doubt , dont. That usually helps me make a decision...... A cheap little fuji would work just as good if your not going to spend lots of time using it......I am forever doing something with mine.. Daily.. b

It's a Canon but I can't remember which one right now. I'll ask him. It's bigger than the one Dodge and I have which makes it heavier and harder to keep steady.
