Oh I know the feeling Tam! It is a bummer! We finally got high speed but when we had dial up I was so frustrated that I just wouldn't come on at night.

Hi Jessica...after catching up on the past coffeehouse I can see the kids were certainly out to play.

Deep down inside I'm still a kid, too bad my 31 year old body doesn't agree with me.

I remember the dial up days, back then I was just so thrilled to have internet I didn't realize how bad it was until I went to my friends and she had DSL.....then I thought...WOW....I need that! I download a lot of games, and where it used to take hours for a small game it now takes a few minutes if that.

Just had some choc. chip waffles.

Hi all. I've been o.k. waiting for another big storm to hit us tomorrow night...I am so sick of snow.

It has been in the lows 30s here the past few days. Not terribly warm but warm enough to melt a lot of our snow. They have been talking about more snow but it hasn't happened yet. They said we should get a few inches today but no such luck.

You'd better behave Scott...Bill is always lurking.

I guess most of us are kids at heart huh?

Tam, I would be totally hating snow if I were you right now....my brother in Michigan said he's sick of snow today, they get a ton each year...not as much as you--but there it snows a lot.

We've reached nice temps all week, the snow has melted a couple of feet I'd say....now another 12 to 16 inches for tomorrow night and Wednesday.


Oh well, that's life here...so what you been up to?

No leftovers Lynne or I'd share....I was craving chocolate and I didn't have ANY so I had to settle for the waffles.

Not much going on here....sat here on the couch with my down throw, trying to keep warm....watching a little TV before I go upstairs to read.

Reminds me I'm reading a book called The Chocolate Lovers Club by Carole Matthews....it's pretty good, a chick-lit book....like Bridgette Jones' Diary type of book......nice and light and fun to read.

I'm pretty cold, but am having some mint choc. chip ice cream to try and soothe my throat - I'm still not over my cold from last week, and now my throat is hurting once again. I did hear on a commercial today that using Nasonex can cause a sore throat - terrific - just what I need - clear the nose and get the sore throat back - NOT!

I was craving that a week or so ago and I never eat peanut butter

Athena had it bad a few days ago, then my sister and nephew both got it last night/today......

They can stay far away from me until they are better, my immune system is almost non existent.

Here's something funny, the other night I was dreaming about what we'd do if we hit the Mega-Millions.....it was up to $270 million or something. So I told Mark I'd get a top of the line gaming laptop. I went to HP and configured one with the best of everything you could.....it topped out at $5,600 or something like that. It was all ready to buy and everything.....too bad I couldn't! But if I ever hit that jackpot, that laptop will be mine. Mark was laughing at me so bad for configuring that computer....but I was just curious how expensive I could get it.

I told Glenda I was going to be in bed by 8:30 Uhhhhhh didn't make it!

ive been wanting candy and now ur talking bout it, lol guess imma have to leave, lol

They do have a laptop out there that is encrusted with real diamonds! Too bad the guts of the computer are weak....it's purse size to be good for a woman. If you google Diamond Laptop you'll see it....$350,000 US Dollars!

All of our time differences throw me off. I always think that everybody is on the same time as me.

It is a vicious cycle Lynne! I had a bad cold a couple weeks ago. It was mostly cleared up besides a bit of a cough and then I got a sore throat and stuffy nose again a few days later. It is mostly gone now but it is very frustrating! Hope you feel better soon!

You'd think I'd learn to pick up a low temp gun, there only $5 but I keep forgetting.

Feel ya on that one, I have a low immune system myself....Mark never gets sick, but he carries stuff back to me from work.

It is kind of like that bra that is in the Victoria's Secret catalog at Christmas time. What does it normally cost? Something like $2 million. I don't really know what it is but it is some outrageous amount like that. Who would honestly buy that?!?

I bet you got a bit sad cuz I know that you were probably sitting there thinking of all the cool stuff that you could do and you got all excited and then your dreams were crushed. That would have been me anyways.

hi diane! how are u and im sorry loz bout the laptop, im content with my computer that i had my bro fix up for me al it need was more ram and now im good to go so i got it done for 30 dollars and i have 85 percent free space...

Maybe, just maybe one day that computer will be mine Tina. I play LOTS of online games...I'm a member of bigfishgames and I love it! I do need a better graphics card...the intergrated chips or whatever don't run most games anymore.....I have the Desperate Housewives game but it won't run because I don't have a Nvidia Geforce something graphics card.

That bra Jess, how would that even be comfy, and WHY--why would you want it! Nobody would see it!
