Sunny and HOT here today. I'm glad I am in for the day, (I think). Got the marriage license today. We will take Ted to school and Jonni with us to get married on Friday morning. Jonni gets to be our witness. She likes that idea.

Congrats Tina- I bet she does like the idea of standing up with Mom and Dad... sounds like a good plan for Friday... I agree doing all the name changing stuff is a pain but does make life easier later I bet... I still remember when the school called for my son once and I answered - they asked for Mrs R and I said noone lives here by that name- they called right back and by then I realized they didn't look to see if I had a different name- let them think they had misdialed first time...LOL!
I have copped to John's last name if someone asks if I'm Mrs......... It is just much easier when the kids are involved. We've been together 18 1/2 years.

James and I are not married but when I call places for household stuff and they ask the name on the account it is his name but then they ask who I am and I say that I am his wife. It is just much easier that way!!
Congratulations Tina! Glad to hear that you will be getting married on Friday!
I've been the hold out all these years. Today when we were getting the license, I told the clerk that he was dying and I'm marrying him for his money. I loved the look on her face. John cracked up. It is no fun if you can't have fun with it.

Tina, so Friday is the day. Congratulations. It is a good decision. I bet he is happy to finally be able to talk you into marriage.
I still cannot do it. I just do not want to live with him. If I could marry and he live in his house I would agree to the deal. I think one husband in my lifetime is a enough. We have been dating for 26 years now.
Tina - Friday is going to be a wonderful day for you all - congratulations! I'm so glad Jonni will be there too - it's important for her to participate and remember this event.
I wish I had John's terrific sense of humor that he is displaying - I'm sure it eases things for all concerned.
No pictures. My camera is broken. That is kind of fine with me. I hate having my picture taken. I've lost about 20 pounds lately but I still look fatter than John. (well, I am fatter than John, I just don't want to look it)

Tina - you are soooooo funny! I'm just thinking though - wouldn't Jonni like to have some pictures as keepsakes? Of course you wouldn't have to share them with us here... (but it would be nice! )
I might buy Jonni a disposable cam tomorrow so she can take pics if she wants. I have her and her Dad's pics all over the place. Her growth has been chronicled well.

Congratulations, Again, Tina. I am thinking like Lynne---I would think Jonni will so appreciate having pictures of the wedding day of her parents. And you might find you will be happy you have pictures too. A disposable camera is an excellent idea.

Hi again, Back from "Grandma's Great Big House" thats what Nicoli calls the rehab place Mom is in... was a long visit..and we learned a lot, she is doing fine- they said she walked 200 ft today with the walker and only rested once- so that was good- they said at this rate she will be ready to go home in 3 weeks or so... sue hope so- but they consider her an at risk adult so she can't be alone... at my sis's she would be alone for a good part of every day so she may be here - I am almost always home or only gone for short periods of time- I did laundry... got last load in- fed the boys dinner- loaded the dishwasher too, going to take them home in a few minutes and give them baths and in bed - school nights when practice is so late is such a pain... I need a nap! Well off to get their stuff collected and coats on - only a couple hours to go..... Nana
Bill said to please not ask questions so I'm leaving that alone. It is Cindy's business and if she wants to share down the line, she can. I'm just happy to hear that she is out of surgery and seems to be doing well.

I wasn't trying to slap you down, Scott. Medical info is very private though. And there are people out there that Cindy will not want to share info with.

you know, talking about marriage, and the things we think about it. if anything were to ever happen to scott, it would be darn near impossible for another man to get me to the altar. shoot, the things i told scott about marriage would burn toposh's young ears i told him no in some very colorful language everytime he asked me to marry him for the first 6 weeks he asked.
I never used colorful language but I managed to avoid it for a few years anyway. So neither of us are interested in rings but Jonni is. So we will use the ring he bought me a bunch of years ago then Jonni can have it. That is cool.

my steavia plant that i bout a few weeks back if you remeber i just had to repot it i did have it in a bigger pot then what it was in about 3 inch bigger and it became root bound! roots were coming out of the bottom of the pot! lol its amazing because i never even fertilized it... (i always forget to fertilize my potted plants) and now i have it in a big terricotta pot... Hope i don't have to do it again for a longer time... i don't want to plant it in the ground... but i may have to if it keeps on growing because this time i did add fertilizer...
pleaseee... Betty Crocker aint got nothing on me =)
scott lost his ring the day before ellie was supposed to get married the first time. so we had to buy him a quick replacement. that worked out well because since i've been sick, my hands have swollen 3 ring sizes. so i'm wearing his old one (kate found it) now.
we both go through fits and spurts with wearing them and not wearing them. but as i've gotten older, i miss it more if it's not there.
well ill take another pic tommorrow of it then ill show u the diff sizes i put them in... lol you can see how big it got... well not as much wide but it got taller
pleaseee... Betty Crocker aint got nothing on me =)
Ah, Tina, i am glad to hear you and john are tying the knot at long last. It will no doubt make things a bit more organised for you in the future. Lord, i cannot even imagine how hard these days must be for you all. I hope that Friday is a bright spot for you all.
Thank you all. I hope so. Gotta try and keep John alive for 2 more days first. I work tomorrow. He's planning on climbing the hill and revamping his water lines. tsk tsk
