Oh that's good news! I bet she can't WAIT to get out of there......I know how much she hates going to the doctors even....so she must really hate being stuck in the hospital....Just glad she is getting better.
That's not sweet! I'm not sweet! I'm a mean, grouchy old fart, and don't you ever forget it!
He's lying, he's really sweet.

Bill so glad Cindy smiled for you--even if it was tiny---at least she did smile !!
Rachel---thanks for letting us know what Cindy said--although I think we all know she appreciates all the prayers & well wishes we are sending her way.
Let me say it is very nice of you and Bill to keep us posted on Cindy's progress. I know you both have a lot on your minds and it is ever so thoughtful of you both to take the time to think of us here.

Yes!!! Thank you!

Bill, I had an idea! Well I was thinking that with Cindy having to rest up a lot, probably in bed or on the couch---maybe you could invest in a cheapo set of handheld radios....with a couple of mile radius....that way if you were outside working on stuff she could get ahold of you easy if she needed something..........just a thought since it is spring and CH is so big and you might need to be outside to work on stuff....
I'm so very happy that she's smiling---big or small---a smile is a smile.
I miss her around here and I'm looking forward to her return to CH.
I was just thought of that because as much as we know Bill :ding: Cindy it would be impossible to be by her side the whole time she's recuperating.
CH is BIG!!! And that would be a good way for her to get ahold of you Bill if there was an emergency or she really needed something. Then again I'm not sure how mobile she'll be when she gets home.....if she'll be in bed for a good while or if she can walk around some.
Hearing she will be able to be outside is wonderful news. The sunshine & good clean air, not to mention the beautiful scenery, will do Cindy the world of good. Just so she does not get her subborn up and try to do so much. But we know you will take excellent care of her, Bill.

OH!! I just thought--would it be too early for Rachel to plant Cindy's rose bushes?? Cindy has talked quite a lot about those rose bushes & where she wanted them--or rather not knowing for sure where she wanted them---so I am thinking she will be wanting to do that. And she shouldn't be doing the work.
I just has a thought that it might be she will settle for Rachel doing it for her?? especially if it is that she will be able to be outside & can "supervise".

Glad Cindy is feeling better Bill, I bet you miss her lots, hoping she gets home soon, still praying for her speedy recovery. Everybody misses her so much.
Speaking of being outside...did you know that hospitals used to take all of their patients outside for at least 30 minutes a day?? No matter what the weather?? It totally helps to get crud out of the system. The schools around here are supposed to take all of the children out for a minimum of 15 minutes a day unless the temps go too high or too low. I don't know that the public schools follow that rule, but ours did...I remember being freezing out there and having to stay outside! But we didn't have alot of sickness go around, that was for sure.
Don't know your location, but we have snow and kids tracking in an out would be a chore for the teachers to dress kids, as well as mop the floor each day?/
We get snow here Barb and the kids go out every day after lunch unless the temp or wind chill is below zero. They have to have snow pants and hats and mittens with them every day. I'm sure it is a lot of extra work for janitors and teachers but it is good for the kids to get out!
Don't think it happens here.. Kids don't even wear all those clothes to school. I agree it is good, mine always did at home, but maybe ours (Faculty) is lazy.
When I was little we never went outside if it was too cold....I don't think they do in the winter here too often....I mean when it's too cold or too snowy there isn't school anyway.
My dad had TB years ago in England when he was young, they thought that fresh air was so good for you back then and he had to sleep outside....all of the TB people did....even in the cold, damp, weather.
Not meaning to hijack here....just adding comments.
I can't wait for Cindy to return....any talks with her today Bill/Rachel?
Yes, I've talked to her and her dr today. She is still improving. There is a possibility that she may get to come home tomorrow. Let's all just hope and pray for the best.

If you never have you should. These things are fun and fun is good.
I can see Bill in there getting all shined up and shaved and waxing shadow and feeding Lola (Extra).. He's getting ready to jump in the vehicle and go get her.
