Silly boy--you would think in 29 years he would have figured out tha carol does not drive on ice.
so to answer your question-----No no driving---
(perhaps we could 'will' our goodies to transport themselves ??)

and we are about to get that same snow now and you think they have cancelled school....no. the woman that runs this school is a fruit cake she'll wait til the roads are slick as grease and then let school out know somce people live almost 20 miles from the school
I followed the bus home last year and cars were sliding off in the ditch right and left.

well I could but she's mised a bunch of days already
but I'm sure thinking about it because I hate driving in the snow and I just got a new car I sure don't want to run off the road and scratch it up and this would be the time I would do it since I got a new one
the snow is suppose to get here right at 8am, that's usually when me nd her get there.

No school here this week, kids are on March break.
Belinda--I agree with Tamara--and I would call the school & let them know that I thought there should not have been school. Why should you endanger you and your child because this lady is not thinking clearly.
last week when my niece & nephew had school (they should not have) he walked in the door her all happy because they got out 1 hour early. well I said--IF you were my kids, I would have been on the phone so quick--- "they kept these kids in school thru 3 or 4 sleet storms so they could get their days money."---those buses are not invinceable--and I really think some of the school systems need to get their priorities in order.
well what do you know--my niece & nephew do not have school today--I am so glad someone had some sense.

I'd keep her home as well....mind you I live in an area where missing school from weather is understandable. They cancel school here so often in the winter...it's normal.
~~Tam~ You can bury all your troubles by digging in the dirt.
Today is another long day. Appointments this morning and this afternoon. But we are getting it all done. I just have had no time/energy for the cleaning I wanted to do. John's brother and sister are coming this weekend.

I just went for cup #2. I'm getting there. You don't sleep long, do you, Carol? It is only 5:30 here.
today Rod left for work at 5:15 he usually leaves at 6:15--so I was up 1 hour early as well.
you know I do not sleep much---I cannot go to sleep before say 10 or so at night--most times later.--then once I get up in the morning usually at say 5:45 or so--I cannot go back to sleep no matter how tired I am.
I would do wht you could & then not worry about it. Your family is not coming to insepct your house--right ???

Morning- our snow is melting - Yay-- Carrie and I are going to go see Mom and hubby will watch the boys... have to go to mall too for her to see if she likes a phone she saw on line- her's won't hold a charge anymore.. and of course the battery is the back of the phone so can't just replace the battery... always something.... LOL! I just counted how many easter baskets I need this yr- 7 for the under 10's and 6 lg rabbits for the over 10's... got to hit the dollar store and see what baskets they have... Nana
I haven't planned past St Pat's day yet. I see the easter stuff in the stores on my way by to get to the things I need. But I don't feel I have the time and energy to stop and look. I picked up a few St Pat's day things for Ted to share at school.

Hi Tamara, just checking in before I start running again- mall, Mom, Sam's and maybe Target - wonder how fast we can get it done.... we have sun today- so thats a plus for us- tamara I remember snow like you have from Alaska and am very glad we don't get it where we are- but you are right - you adapt to what you have- it's like us in Az- 120* and we still did what we had to do... Nana
I had a very busy day at school today. The cafeteria had oranges;I didn't have time to eat them,so I snuck them out in my backpack.I ate them as an after-school snack.
I just whipped up a cheese omelet for John. That was what sounded best to him after a grueling day. Jonni polished off the last of the lasagna. I don't know what I am going to eat yet. An omelet doesn't appeal.

those are beautiful, Patunia--if you were closer to me, I would commission you.
Not much keeps me from ceramics either---my entire family and about 90% of the people who even slightly know me, know better than to ask me to do anyhting on a tuesday morning.
