Your Silver Squill was originally considered to be Scilla violacea, a member of the Bluebell family but the botany nerds got together and reclassified it as Ledebouria socialis It is native to South Africa. Ledebouria socialis needs full sun to partial shade with a well-drained soil mix (50/50 sand/loam). Let it dry completely between waterings. Feed monthly with 50% strength soluble house plant food when it is actively growing. Propagate by division.

I love that plant... especially the purple stamens! thumbup

I planted squill bulbs and only one ever came up.

I heard they are extremely poisonous.

~~Tam~ You can bury all your troubles by digging in the dirt.
