rachel, that looks like so much fun. every kid should experience that kind of fun at least once in their life i bet hot chocolate was the order of the day when you were done!!!
We had hot chocolate after the first time we went out today. This may be the only time he sees a foot of snow while he's a kid. Couldn't let it go to waste.

If you never have you should. These things are fun and fun is good.
rachel, i didn't see a foot of snow until i was and adult. and have only seen that much twice in my life. might be why i don't like it? but it is so pretty, and the look of pure joy on his face is priceless. you should print and frame one of those pics.
When I was a kid it was normal to have a foot of snow. I remember several times having snows like that as a kid. Now thanks to global warming we don't have that anymore. Atleast we moved a little further north. They don't have nearly as much snow in London as we do here right now.
Bless Jeremy's heart. He drove us around looking for a good hill and then sat and waited on us while we had fun. He wasn't feeling well enough to get out and sled himself.

I think that pic of Brennan is wonderful....it shows his joy so well---those are the memories he'll cherish when he grows up, the stuff you never forget.
We didn't have power since 7:30 last evening til just now!!! It's 55 degrees in the house since we got home last night at 9:30 and it's blowing fiercely outside - BRRRRRRRR!
Hi everyone. Speaking of cold. Last weekend I sat at the ballpark and froze my self to death. This weekend I didn't go and I'm glad because my daughter Ginger called last night and said it was the coldest game day (with the wind) that she's ever been in and she's been in a lot. With that said, I would like to brag. She is the softball coach for a college in Georgia and her team in number #3 in the nation. She is the one without the hat.

Hi Tamara - no snow at all yesterday - only very hard driving rains all day long. It was total fog driving into the city on the parkway, just like the last time we had to go in for one of Amy's concerts! This time I had my eyes closed the entire time while Don drove - it's too scary not being able to see the other cars or the edge of the road!
The weather here in the Central Valley is just FANTASTIC! Light breeze, loads of sunshine, warm temps,it's enough to make folks further east jealous!Oh yeah...I forgot to eat breakfast bettr go get myself a Hot Pocket & hash browns.
