Here are some tips for growing veggie seedlings indoors(for warm weather crops):
1: Give the seedlings lukewarm water from the time you plant the seeds until they're ready to harden off.Warm water helped my zuke seedlings grow HUGE!
2: Provide plenty of light for the seedlings(not sunlight-light from a flourescent lightbulb or tube.
3: Provide a source of nutrients (preferably compost or plant food). The seedlings have a limited supply of food in their cotelydons.

That's my tips for today.Good Luck!!!

ADDITION TO MY seedling TIPS:

4: Give 'em plenty of space when the fist true leaf has grown, transplant directl into garden,or pot on to larger containers & harden off for transplanting.
