How are you Kenny?I just got some heirloom tomato seeds from a friend today. My rose bush is doing great even without additional fertilizer. When leaves from nearby trees fall on it in fall, the leaves rot and provide it natural fertilizer.Guess what? A pepper seedling came out As well as more tomatoe seedlings. They'll stay indoors until warmer weather comes & when they are tall enough.I managed to plant snap beans this week. They'll sprout in a week or two and provide me some fresh, homegrown green beans.spring break is getting closer for me.It's next Friday.

Good grief... way to early in the morning for me but I am awake- can't turn the brain off for some reason... to much going on for me to think about.. so I came here to catch up a little... we got the upstairs office/bedroom/kids tv video game room set up - had my SIL move my computer and desk up there ... saved hubby doing it and he is a lot faster at it- got it up and running again in about half the time it would have taken me... moved a lot of stuff in to the basement play room for the boys to play down there... tomorrow morning will move rest and clean up downstairs room for Mom- son is coming tomorrow to do the bannister , and hand held shower for Mom- got my confirmation from Walmart that they shipped all the stuff I ordered for her safety too... one less thing to worry about.. Teresa is coming back tomorrow afternoon too to help move and rearrange stuff too.. she had a job interview in the early part of the afternoon then will show up here... that will be good cause she can stay with boys if Sean and I have to go to the Depot to get stuff...
Well better go and see if I can go back to sleep .. have to be up in 5 hours to take Timba to school for Carrie- she worked till midnight last night and won't be awake enough to take him ...

Morning Belinda.

The kids here are fussier about school food as well since they went 'healthy'. No fries or junk in our schools here.

when i was in public school i never ate it at all... not because it was healthy food, because it wasnt i just didn't feel safe eating the food. I mean theirs so much stuff on the news about returants containing bad stuff in their food so why cant it happen to a school.. Just the other week a school around here bought cows to be slaughtered at a auction and it turns out the cows were sick cows! no one got sick i don't think... but still... they killed the cows...

Not my best morning. I was up sick to my stomach last night. Jonni has her state test this morning and I have to take her. All I really want to do is crawl back to bed.

Tina, I am so sorry for you---Glad it has not hit Jonni yet though--she can get her test out of the way firt this way. I luckily did not get it. Both my girls, one of my SIL's and my DH got it. I have never washed my hand so much nor taken so much immune boosting vitamins in my life.

I hope you can come home between testing times & get some rest.

Oh man that flu that is going around is NASTY. Feel better Tina.

BTW, here is my niece Athena after her Easter Egg Treasure Hunt....her last clue led to my stair basket that had all of her stuff in it. Except the birdbath, that was hidden on a chair at the table. She always wanted her own because she loves the birds as much as I do. :ding:

[Linked Image]

I got her a lot of little goodies, the birdbath, webkinz, a jigsaw puzzle, 2 bath paints, an Avon angel birthstone necklace, a giant chocolate chip cookie in a tin, a sucker that when you put it in your mouth it looks like you have a rabbit face, a bouquet of suckers, a chocolate rabbit, and the 2 craft things that you can see in the front. She can't wait to get home so she can put her birdbath in her yard. thumbup

Yeah, my sister has to work though and she won't be back up so this was the only chance I had to give her the stuff. She loved the treasure hunt so much, the whole time she was laughing saying, this is so much fun.

good morning, just a light breeze after the tornadoes and rain last night. we had a building leveled and several major transmission lines down at the power plant here in the county, so thousands are without power, but ga power is getting the grid re-routed much faster than they originally anticipated.

Good morning everybody. Jeremy and Brennan are outside making bacon on the campfire. They're having a really good time. I feel like a zombie. I didn't sleep lastnight at all hardly. I feel like my entire body has just shut down. The boys are having a good time, though.

I'll have to post a picture later of Brennan's bunk in the RV. He brought all 55 Webkinz and stashed them in there. He is such a cutie.
