Rachel - sounds like the boys are having a great time, but I'm so sorry that you are having such a hard time. kissie

all accounted for in the tornadoes. there was one injury at the same time, but it was minor and we don't know if it was the tornado or a coincidence.

a total of 3 buildings, (2 homes) leveled and damage to another 8-9 more. 13 of the overhead high wire power service transmission towers down. but i'm ok, and i was one of the first with power back on.

getting ready to run some errands in a bit.

Glad to hear you're o.k. Jiffy.

Sheri, glad you had no damage anywhere.

Just came back, spent the morning at grandmas's doing housework....wish she'd boot out her 'never leaving' sons though. Looking after little kids would be easier than spoiled men.

Do you cut it properly? cut it at a 45 degree angl make sure their is at least at least 6 to 8 sets of leaves pull the bottm leave off and also the thorns and just stick it in sand or perlite in the sun if you put it in a pot of perlite to root just put it in the the same way and cover it and stake it with plastic put it in a shadey but warm spot outside in the garden... it's very simple... same thing with my other plants i get from cutting i just stick them in the sand... OHHH I do add one thing to my beds every coupld weeks and stuff its a lilttle marvelous thing that is called epsom salt they help things germinate and root and it feeds them... ill send u detailed instuctions on how to root a rose later on tonight its a lot to type.... i want pics of ur rose when it blooms! peeeaaassse

Hi all,
I am tired this evening... we brought all my Mom's stuff over yesterday, clothes, bedding- papers... it filled up the pickup truck- some of the clothes dated back to when I was 13 or so... I spent this morning with Carrie going thru it and trashed some- put some aside for donation- then sorted it all to wash... my sis supposedly washed it but no way was it clean... I washed it all today- got last load in dryer now...had to go buy hangers to hang it all up.. but it is almost all done now... room is ready for her too- got a new bed yesterday too.. got new bedding cause her sheets were to dirty to use- even after I washed them... got her a new pillow too- hers fell apart was about 30 yrs old I think.. I put my glider rocker in there for her cause her recliner at my sis's was to dirty to bring here- we have a tv for her and the vcr,dvd player too.. got a new lamp for her too- do have to get a bookcase for her books and tapes to go in... but that can wait till later..
My kids have been really helpful the last 2 weeks- helping me sort stuff- driving me over to get stuff.. grocery shopping... my son went and got the new bed so I wouldn't have to pay to have it delivered , he figured out how to put a new bannister up too and hooked up our water filter and a hand held shower for my Mom too... he even painted the bannister to match our existing ones too.. looks like it was always there.
Well I have to go take a hot bath now and hopefully soak some of the soreness out of my back.. fold that last load of clothes and put that away and I am done till tomorrow...

Well everyone I think I am going to call it for today. I am tired & I have a full week ahead.

Today I told the girls Easter was here, so then I invited my Mom & dad as Rods mom will of course be here--well now I should invite my brother---and then---I get a phone call & my nephew, his wife & 3 kids are gonna come & stay with us Easter Monday night & the following Tuesday.--

Can you say--------"My house is not clean????" cause I sure can !!!

Anyway some sleep is in order
--so I have the energy to do what I can & make a list for DH so he can do what I cannot do.
Sweet Dreams wavy

Good Green Morning to everyone too!
I am up early to get a start on cleaning my house before tomorrows eval- thanks for the kind words too- this place keeps me going sometimes when I think I can't do it anymore...
WE got about 3 inches of snow last night... didn't stick to streets and supposed to warm up and melt it away soon too- sure hope so... not what I need right now..
I have the boys this morning about 9 so have to get as much done as I can before then- but decided I needed to do a little me time first- (means come here and catch up again)
Hubby just left to take Joseph to school - work till 11 and then go to appt for his leg/back problems- hopefully tests will show something easy to fix... the other test is Wed- trying hard not to worry but thats not happening to well...
I slept hard and fast last night- went up layed down and was gone- hubby said he went in and out 3 times before he came to bed and I didn't move or anything.. usually takes me an hour before I turn off and sleep ... maybe I was a wee bit more tired than normal.Well oatmeal is done and I need another cuppa tea to get my motor going then hit the shower and get started- back later as I take breaks.
We are doing Easter here too- but Carrie said she would cook the ham .... and bring it over here .

Yes another busy day for me as well. I have my usual school runs to do and then business stuff to take care of (all that stuff to do with changing my name). A little shopping to tuck in there somewhere. But no Dr appointments. That makes it feel like a holiday.

Hi back to rest myself a little- hubby is home- now Doc wants him to have an MRI thinks it's coming from his back .... now we just have to wait for docs to call to set it up.... more waiting... got my downstairs done completly- Timba still feels like frowing up as they call it so we are just doing water for him- he is resting- other two I gave their cold med and they are asleep now- got Nicoli's underwear in dryer- only had 2 accidents but I only have 5 pair of underwear here so thought I better wash and dry some while he had the pullup on for the nap...
Sun is out now- snow will melt quickly now- really didn't want it to be icy/slushy for Mom to get around tomorrow... still haven't called me back to confirm that she does have a pass ... been 4 hours in a few minutes since I called... very frustrating when they don't return calls..
Well kitchen won't clean itself- need to do the fridge, stove. and the floor- put stuff away that ended up here in the moving of stuff, then mop the floor too, one more thing off my list...

You are so busy, Nana. I feel like a total lazy bones next to you. I got a lot done today myself. It all happened with a lot of waitng in lines. I try to avoid DMV as much as possible but one of today's errands demanded my presence. A couple other lines and my body is ready for a nap.
