Morning Tam, how are you this morning. Got to play an April fool joke on Mo, I get him every year. I have to be careful though, dont want to give him a heart attack. One year I put watered down ketchup on my hand, and wrapped it in a towel and pretended that I had cut my finger of, Wont do that again haha I do something a bit more gentle now. thumbup

Calling for sun and 4*C(39*F) on my wedding day but some snow for Saturday...hoping the snow doesn't come early. Few inches of snow to fall today followed by freezing rain they say.

YIKES, Tam,does'nt It ever end. I think at this stage I would be happy if the sun is out, even though It might be cold.

Dont you ever get depressed with all the bad weather Tam, I sure would. I think thats why you bake and cook so much, and clean house, not much else you can do when you can'nt get out.

We get used to the weather Faye, it's always been like this. Although this year had more snow than usual...it also had less cold then usual, so it's a trade-off.

Yup, I am hoping at least for some sun as well. The worst part is that DH works with the snow plow crew and they all put in for 'Not working' Friday night and Saturday morning. So if it does get messy....we have to wait for the other district to fill in...meaning roads that will only get plowed when their own is done.

I can see that from your pics Belinda. The snow here has changed to freezing rain.

Morning everyone,
Got a few minutes before I go take my shower... we had a good morning so far today- hubby's test is today and he is doing okay with it now that it's almost here...
We are having a nice day here - not quite warm... but sun is out and feels nice- course we are supposed to get snow/rain tonight... I cleaned up my houseplants over the weekend too- moved my ficus back into the kitchen so it gets more light- need to spray it for scale too - noticed a few on it and so when it warms up again I will take it outside and do that... rest of plants are fine... just gave them all baths and cleaned them up some.
Tamara hope you get your baking and last minute stuff done - and hope weather is good to you- but I guess you all are ready for it even if it doesn't cooperate ...
Well off to get busy--- have a good day all -
Nana

When I was going through my seed box I found the most beautiful card from Angelblossom (from last year) with the nicest note and seeds for the green envy zinnias. I should just keep cards and read them once it a while. It was sure a great pick me up after today at work. And I don't even remember noticing when I first read the card that on the envelope she placed flag stamps and around the flap she put a Spirit of Amercia stamp, a whitehouse stamp, and a flag with an eagle stamp. She remembered that I said I was proud to be an American.

That does sound like a nice pick-me-up, Sheri. I'm sorry your day at work wasn't joyous. Wouldn't it be nice if all work days were? I go to work with a smile on my face most of the time. But I get to work outside puttering with growing things and posies. Without much oversight which is a blessing on it's own. I enjoy it once or twice a week. It provides me with posy money. But the sense of satisfaction in the work is the biggest blessing. (now don't ask me about my day if my equipment is giving me a hassle)

clap

I agree..
Reading the seedpkts when we plant the seeds from our friends online, is just as much of a joy as the flowers when they bloom......
Just so much nicer to see something like angelblossom or Bestofour or Loz or someone like that , instead of Henry Field and 8 seeds in a packet.

Lots of my seed are germinating , Even ones I didnt suspect would. Bestofour you sent me some that I had to boil water an crack them.. I did .. Now the waiting begins....

Soon as I wake i the morning, I run to the back room an plug lights in for the little seedy things......It sure is fun.

Today i redid one bed , planted onion sets and lettuce......

Keeps me out of trouble.
