It is pretty early for the rest of the country to be in tomato mode. Unless they are starting seeds indoors.

I don't do veges. I have too much of a critter problem to try right now. But if I were, I would be planting all of those outside right now.

EG2,
I was wondering the same thing when I checked back in around a month ago. Think some must be spending more time on other forums. I miss everyone here as John, Peppereater and several more offered so much good advice to go along with some good humor. Have a great gardening season.

Hey elk and others! I've been checking the tomato threads lately and wishing there was more posting, too. I've got a few peppers and 'maters under lights and I'm getting ready to plant more.

Dave your plants are looking nice. I'm starting peppers today. And my end up sneaking a few tomatoes in. Was planning on waiting another 8-10 days. I had to hold them so long last year I promised myself I wouldn't get in that situation this year. See you have Kimberly. Have you posted a list? Jay

No list yet. I'm getting my final list together right now. 20 varieties of 'maters so far and only up to the J's, Joya de Oaxaca.

I do my tomatoes and peppers in the greenhouse and it's still a bit early for me here. Planting my seeds next week under growing lights. Plan to have everything in the green house mid April. Cost to much while it's still cold to start the green house so I wait for spring and I think it's almost here, not too sure yet.

I planted 'Roma V' seeds in my garden. The 'mater seedlings are growing their true leaves now.

I don't propigate indoors much--I don't really have the time generally to give them the attention they need. what seeds i plant i do directly into my garden. toms, peppers 7 such i do direct with plants in may.

Same here, everything gets leggy on me. I'd rather just spend a few dollars at the local nursery and just harden off the veggie seedlings.
