You have a keen eye for closeups, Dodge, particularly in getting that bee in as added interest,in the top photo. Is that your signature at the bottom of the second one? Well done! More...more.......more...
The flowers are all so beautiful. Mine are blooming now also. I was so excited when we got back from camping this weekend and saw the first bloom. When we moved in here there was no landscaping so I had to start from scratch. I got a late start and didn't put out anything until November. I was surprised to see so much coming up good and healthy. Now I've got tons of these little beauties in the front yard.

This is my first bloom. The pic didn't turn out so good. I don't have pictures of my bunches yet.
Here is the camper we got about a month ago.
We do all kinds of stuff camping. It depends on where we go. The place we went last weekend was just about 30 minutes from home. They had an outdoor museum of fossils and life size replicas of mammoths and other prehistoric animals that lived in the area. There was also a trail to go on to see a bison herd they have there. We went fishing, but didn't catch anything. Brennan absolutely loves it. He has a ball. We thought it would definitely be something he would have lifelong good memories of. And the camper is pretty comfy. We're not roughing it by any means.

your crocus looks like it is related to mine.. Purple and white.......Vernus.
Wow that sure is a great looking camper . Home on wheels........ Then you can setup in any park for free? Or if you go visit someones home you have your own home.. Very good idea. Glad you did boy things for Brennen. There are bison places in our area also. That is showing Brennen History.
No, not hubby. We're not married. We've lived together for over 5 years but haven't gotten around to getting married.
When we go camping we have to pay wherever we set up. It's usually around $25 a night. In most places that includes water, electric and sewer hookup. It's a good price for what the campgrounds offer. Most places have fishing, playground, pool and hiking trails.

That sounds like lots of fun for traveling. We always traveled by car, and stayed in cheap motels.. Lots of folks set up campers at football season in Penna.
It is fun. I hadn't really thought of something like that being a good time. Jeremy had the idea a few months ago and I reluctantly went along with it. It turned out to be a great idea. It's a lot better than sitting around the house on the weekends. We can get away and do something even if it's close to home.

That is true. Same boring stuff weekends and you need to go see the how the rest of the world lives. That is why I like farm life . It is more of an adventure. There was 10 in my family. Siblings . ONly me stayed on the farm.
Of course we both had town jobs. Now retired. Now we hope on his Motorcycle on sundays and saturdays and it is like a dream come true.. I take my camera and see what I can shoot.
I believe you're right re Joan of Arc.... The plant markers are for some border bearded irises [spanish Coins, and were set out last fall.
The plan is for them to succeed the crocuses in approximately the same location; hopefully they'll both coexist well. Those crocus corms are really deep and shouldn't be competing too much. And the bricks succeeded in keeping the squirrel away.
The irises won't show for a some weeks yet, but the main thing is they're there and didn't frost-heave. So far, so good. Some of the crocus' seedlings are now blooming, also. Miss Mollie says: "Hi".

Hi Miss Molly........
I have kittys similiar to yours.. thanks for coming on here for us to see you.
It's a clump that grew from a single corm years ago;as a matter of fact, a single corm should sprout about three or four plants the first season and develop their corms which likewise multiply.
