This grew last year in the same place nothing ever bloomed from it,, this year it's back,, but this year there is a bud?? Maybe?? that wasn't there last year,, does anyone have a clue what it is ,, IF it's a weed I've got to get it outta there!!




This is new on it,, this year,, Not a good picture,, but hopefully someone here will know,




I didn't pull it out last year understanding flowers some times bloom the second year,, I finally cut it back in the early fall last year it had been there most the spring and summer,, and never bloomed anything,

I have gladiola coming up already I've planted in the back yard,, I really don't believe it's gladiola's,, I've had them for a few years in the back ,, Unless,,, this is a shorter version with much thinner leaves and grows in clumps,, there are probably 7-10 of these clumps of growth,

Cool, we can't overwinter glads here and most times they are forgotten in the ground and need to be replanted...it never even dawned on me that they would produce babies.

I have the peacock lilies. I also have mini-glads that are similar.

My glad's leaves come up in a fan shape, but have the same type bud....unless what i'm calling a gladiola is something else?

I believe I will move these,, after they have finished for the season,, I'm not sure I want these around the tree I have a corner area that is better suited for the height of these,,
