Shirley - I meant to answer you about Passover earlier - we are not going to have a Seder since it will just be us, and none of us goes to Temple anymore. But we will be together and celebrate it culturally instead of religiously.
Hi everybody!!! Boy oh boy have we been busy here today! Just grabbing a few minutes before we have to get back to work.
Earlier today, I was helping Lynne vacuum the basement. I wanted to help push it, but she said I'd be better off helping steer, so here I am - it was FUN!
Since I was such a big help, Lynne took me outside when she got the mail. I feel in love with these osteospermum, and insisted that she take a picture of me standing in front of them - aren't they soooooo pretty?!?
Hi all - I just grabbed the keyboard from TW - he's such a yakker!!! Well... yes, Willy was a BIG help with the cleaning earlier today, but as soon as I turned my back to get the mail out of the box, LOOK where I found him!
He will do about anything to get a girl's attention!!! This time, she was too busy reading her book and didn't give him the time of day. I tell you, Carol was right - I might have a Peyton Place on my hands here afterall!
We'll post a bit more after I get the chicken into the oven, and the veggies cut up.
This is one time I would not of minded being mis-taken, Lynne. But it is shaping up that way---I guess he got a taste of "the high life" at Shirley's and decided he liked it!!
I do so ever hope that you have T Willy with you in the kitchen.---left to his own devices, hard telling where he might end up.
BTW: I love your osteospurmum, as much as T-Willy does.

you know we were--but we slept right thru it!! our phone woke us up. My youngest got woke up by it and so did her sister.---Emily decided to call us, and it was the call that woke us up---Dante`, the resident Doggie did not even wake up--people to the north and south of us were woke up--I guess we are just heavier sleepers that we thought--that or we were 'just barely' out of range---
we did not even feel the aftershocks--there were 4 to 6 of them I hear one of the aftershocks was even 4.5 on the richter scale. quake itself was downgraded to 5.2

Bless you for thinking of me--but this fault line is one I had not heard about before.--Wabash Valley Seizmic zone. about 128 miles from St. Louis. we are about 40 miles closer to it, than St. Louis is.
the one we have to worry about is The New Madrid Fault. They say it is a case of WHEN it happens, not if--and it is due to be a wopper of a quake.---the last real big one from it was i n the 1800's some time--(if my history serves me right) this quake even caused the Mississippi to reverse flow direction for awhile and Reel Foot lake was formed.--(not a small lake, and it is an actual Lake) That is in Tennessee.--I have a paper on it someplace. with the correct information on it.

I follow thoses all the time.. Just read and read how they really happen. Yes it is unusual in your area.. And your closer to us than the california quakes.
San Andes or what ever it is called...... Earthquakes, tornadoes, and eruptions ........I read all the time. It is something else how those things happen......I watch Mt Helens all the time.
Going visiting, sightseeing, housework, yardwork, or just chillin'?
Cousin Fred wants to know if he is hangin' with the twins or were they just passing thru?

OK - our company has returned home, and the kitchen is all cleaned up. We are all very exhausted from a very long day. Dinner was delicious, and everyone is beyond stuffed. TW is resting now, so I'll show you some more of what he did outdoors this afternoon.
While we walked back down the driveway to go back into the house, TW heard the sound of running water - Don had turned on the waterfall in the pond yesterday. TW RAN for it, climbing up the hill to the top before I could stop him! I was so afraid he might fall into the pond, and then it would be really hard to find him down in there!!! Can you even see him waaaaaaaay up top there?!? gnomes/TWandwaterfall4-19-08.jpg" alt="[Linked Image]" class="post-image" style="height:auto!important;max-width:100%!important;"/>
I had to use my zoom lens to make sure he was ok up there - I am afraid of heights you know, and it makes me nervous to see others that high up! gnomes/TWandwaterfall24-19-08.jpg" alt="[Linked Image]" class="post-image" style="height:auto!important;max-width:100%!important;"/>
All was fine, and I finally talked him down. PHEW!
Then he heard an odd sound coming from another garden on the other side of the driveway. He ran over there - boy I can't keep up with him - those tiny legs go VERRRRRRRRRRRRRY fast! By the time I reached him, he had clammered up to the top of Gigantus Toad! But it looked like he was in trouble - he was about to fall off! gnomes/TWandGigantus4-19-08.jpg" alt="[Linked Image]" class="post-image" style="height:auto!important;max-width:100%!important;"/>
It didn't look like Gigantus was too happy with this intruder and he was trying to shake him off!
Once Willy was safely on the ground, he ran on over to Firdy. They found something funny - a real good belly laugh, but I couldn't get it out of them - they wouldn't share the joke! gnomes/TWandFirdyFrog4-19-08.jpg" alt="[Linked Image]" class="post-image" style="height:auto!important;max-width:100%!important;"/>
On the way back into the house, he saw Amber sunbathing in the window, and he wanted to know how it felt to be there, so I helped him onto the window ledge. He said the sun felt oh-so-good after the long snowy winter! gnomes/TWinwindow4-19-08.jpg" alt="[Linked Image]" class="post-image" style="height:auto!important;max-width:100%!important;"/>
Then as we were about to walk in the front door, he spotted another kind of cat also sunbathing - what a gorgeous day we had today!!! (he was trying to ask him where all the "hot babes" are, but this cat didn't have a clue what he was talking about... thank goodness!!! ) gnomes/TWandcatstatue4-19-08.jpg" alt="[Linked Image]" class="post-image" style="height:auto!important;max-width:100%!important;"/>
TW had to go sit quietly while I showered - I was afraid of where I might find him when I left him to his own! He was very well behaved, so he got to check out the rest of the house while I prepared dinner. We didn't take any pictures when our company was here - everyone was just too busy.
Not sure what tomorrow will bring, but I guess we shall all find out!
Oh Lynne!!!!!!!!!! TW is sure having a grand time! Gotta love the gnome that loves cats! =^..^= Wonder what trouble or adventures he shall encounter tomorrow?
It looks like Traveling Willy is having a great time in your yard!
I agree with Shirley, you have to keep any eye on him or he will be out adventuring on his own before you know it!
He is a very independent guy ya' know.

Great Pictures Love him at the top of the water fall,, and I agree with everyone else,, Gotta keep an eye on him the way he ran around your yard,, he could get lost in NY in a NY minute
IF he gets a chance to see the statue of Liberty,, I bet that is One Lady He can't handle!

Diane, I bet you are right about the Statue of Liberty Diane.
