Oh goodie!!! They are already arrving. I know I'll have to wait longer for mine to get here, but now I am going to look forward to going to the mailbox everyday again. And dissappointed when they are not there. But anxious again the following day. and cycle will continue until I get them. I already have quite a bit started from purchases and previous swap but there is still time for the ones in the new package too. :)
Thankyou for the offer of seeds but I have more than enough for everyone. I'm sorry some types of plants were in everyones packages. There was an abundance sent in so there wasn't any choice.
I haven't completely given up on the banana peppers even though I know I should and get on with it. I just find it hard. But I did go ahead and plant one of the Boldog Hungarian Spice peppers so that I would have more of the seeds. And I did about 12 Bell pepperseeds for a friend.
I haven't planted anymore petunias yet and the aster's are comming up looking like moss roses. Do you think some seeds from the year before last might have gotten in the compost?
I got mine Thursday. They arrived while I was planting seeds. So they are sorted to the containers they go in for sowing out.
My passion vines are up.I have quiet a time starting those from seed.I'm glad for the poppy I now have enough to try my hand again so maybe with the larger selections I may grow some yet,but will start THOSE this fall.I was excited about the yellow wax beans.I love those.I've also sowed some bulldog hungarian spice pepperseeds.I got them in the spring swap.I'm just not sure if they are the ones that popped up.I sowed 4 kinds(jalpeno lrg/habarano/banana/hungarian bulldog& eggplant/cilantro/sweet basil)And always the chance that the cayenne from last year will return in the pot and the ornemental sweet pepper.
Thanks alot Tammy. Can't wait for the next one!
I will age ungracefully until I become an old woman in a small garden..doing whatever the Hell I want!
cece your seeds arrived. I've filled an envelope for you but I'm not sure when I will get to the post office to mail it off. I will try to get there this comming week.
Oh, Tammy, thank you sooooooooooo much for all those lovely varieties of seeds! They arrived yesterday!!!!!! I can't wait to sow..... have to work though But i'll use a lot of seeds to grow in our new build greenhouse at work. The autist-group i work with, will enjoy it very much! You did such a great job on this fling, thanks again!!!!!!!!
I would just like to point out that the seeds got to the Netherlands before they got to Canada--which is just a drive away. What is wrong with that picture? lol
just to mention and to add on to Sarah's post, it actually takes sooner for people in england to receive my seeds than for people in the US to get my seeds. christmas cards to Hong Kong take way less time than those destined to Taiwan, which is a 3-4 hr plane ride from hong kong

Nothing yet. I have next week off, so I will be bumming around and trying to figure what new seeds to start, so I hope they get here, otherwise if I get something in there I would have preferred I will have to do those as well and then I will have to figure out where to put them......
I am at home today, and I guess there was no mail yesterday. So nothing came, but what better birthday present than to get seeds in the mail. Hopeful wishing maybe but.... That would be so awesome 'cuz then I'd have something to do that would be fun. As opposed to housework, which noone should have to do on their very special day.
Here are some flowers for you......I am home everyday.. My job to day was going thru ole picture albums and sorting them.....There are photos of 10 siblings and our parents . Deceased parents and 5 siblings......GOne and the kids and grandkids wanna see photos.....I been at the job for years.
Kinda of like a family tree maker.... Cheer up maybe 2 maro mail will bring a suprise.
Thanks for the flowers dodge. My mail comes in the afternoon so I can still hope it will be there today. My MIL also sent something so I'm waiting for that too. I don't feel like doing much. Maybe I will organize my seeds. So when the new ones come in I can see what I want to start right away. I started going thru them last night and realized I have way too many seeds and I would like at least one of each and I know that will be impossible. So I started 8 dif kinds and 6 more tomatoe varieties.
You sound like me, I received so many different varieties of tomatoe, I am anxious to see what developes. Folks are great on here for trades......
I am almost out of stewed tomatoes which I can yearly.. They better grow.....
Soon as I am able , spring planting, a I am taking all my left over seedsflowers and plant a long row in my garden . I did part of one last year , and loved it.. zinnias . They are so beautiful .
YIPPEE!!! I GOT MINE TODAY! Thank you Tammy... what a great selection, and some things I'd been wanting, Opal basil, licorice basil... yay! I'm seed-happy ;)

I got mine today!!!! And I got items from my wishlist, not that I would remember what most it was, but I know i wanted sunflowers and hot peppers. And I got both. Plus A WHOLE LOT MORE!!!!! How did u plant them all Penny? I still can't decide what will go where. With all these extra seeds. I will be able to try and direct sow some as well. Tammy thanks again
whoo hoo! im so happy everyones getting their seeds! tammy ya did a great job! i cant wait till the fall fling seed swap! my yard this summer should look great thanks to the seed swaps ya do for us tammy! thank you for all the hard work you do
I would love to see pictures of what everyone plants from the seed exchanges. That would be really cool.
I plan to spread the wealth around down here. Next Tuesday we are having a meeting of the new garden group. And one of the activities will be a seed share. I have enough that everyone can go home with quite a treasure trove of goodies.
I hope they all do. And once they do I'll see about putting up a trade list with whatever is left. Hopefully not to much.
I may start it this week as I have somethings in abundance.
I've planted most of my box out...the remainder of fall fling and spring fling. Some stuff is sprouting from when I started sowing the box
TK what color are your dahlias?petunias?I had 2 pks petunias from ya 1 says mixed, the other is pelloted
I have the cutest lil leapord lilly seedlings& I got blue agapanthus seedlings(white not up?)weirdly enough my WS black pearl peppers are sprouted but the ones sowed in veggie container are not. And thanks to whoever sent in the yavonne's salvia.I got some 2 different years.I winter sowed direct last year& had 2 whole stems return(could be dog)but now got a lil more seed.I just wish it would do like everyone elses and get TALL.
I can use nicotina.None has sprouted.I've stored all my poppys for WS this fall.
I will age ungracefully until I become an old woman in a small garden..doing whatever the Hell I want!
I don't know about the pelleted. The mixed if it is from me will be white, purple and the burgandy color if they are true to last year. And they are the wave petunias. They get to as much as 3 foot around. They are ground hugging though. They don't grow up like some I have seen. Also they get thick with lots of blooms during the spring and fall but are rather sickly looking during the hot part of the summer. Good luck with them.
I'm not sure of the color of the dahlias they were from a trade.
ok the mixed marked yours are fine where I put them. They are in container with BOP and spider airplane plant.(I knew they'd be fine BOP seedling is 4 yrs old not ready to bloom yet& will give it ANY color& if I come across my milkyway MG seeds they will do fine in that pot with a stick.) The pellot ones were folded in wax paper& in green index card?
There's times I can remember what seeds I've sent someone when they come back for more..........I have alot of Kenny in my yard too& alot of Tammy!I planted some pinks Hollyhocks yesterday that are Tammys they will hopefully shade some gourds roots.
I think some of the pelloted seeds have a coating on them that helps them germinate better or easier or somthing.
I will age ungracefully until I become an old woman in a small garden..doing whatever the Hell I want!
I think you're both right, I know some farmers use corn that is coated in caly or something so that it doesn't get too wet and rot (I heard this like in grade 1 so it might be off a bit) I know dust like seed are peletted to help you plant them better
