You can do this Tammy! And you'll love it! It might be strange the first few weeks but in no time at all it will really feel like home, and you'll have all new friends!!!!

Look at Cindy, she moved practically across the entire country---although not totally by herself, she has Bill. thumbup

You're gonna LOVE owning your own home. Just concentrate on your landscaping. That will get you excited.

I'd love to see pics if you get yourself a camera. grin

Yep, think of how peaceful it will be, no noisy or nosey neighbors. thumbup

I too love bay windows. I'd love to have a garden window in the kitchen over the sink.

I don't have the window over the sink and I'm going to miss that. But where my kitchen is located it would be facing the drain field anyway...so not much of a view. But I do have two skylights in there.

From what I understand there are several different types of drain pipes they can put in and based on which one it is will depend on what I can do out there. So with a shovel in hand I'll be digging down next to one of the runs of pipe to check it out. Cross your fingers that it is white pvc pipe. If not I'll have a lawn. Not something I wanted but, you do what you have to do right?

Your right I'm going to enjoy not having any really close neighbors. And hopefully no motorcycle riders living close by. And no mechanics shop pounding away on cars all day. Those are all pluses. And hopefully no plant destroyers either.

We all have some little vises to bear as we live around folks. We are Not right up against houses, but neighbor closest, lives in florida most of the time..Not home yet.
The end of the our lane is a Widow with dollars......Which I mostly ignore. She likes to run everyones life...Hobby is making men do her work for free.. Not good......THe rest of the neighbors mostly ignore us. Were not related , so we love our privacy......... :ding: Look around the yard and house TK and see if you forgot anything to take........

Yesterday I spent the day travelling around to different friends and having a last good chat before leaving. It was great and it was heartbreaking at the same time. But after packing up 7 boxes from the kitchen I needed the break. I don't know where all that stuff comes from.

Today it is the last of the bathroom stuff. Most of it is going in the drawers of my tupperware drawers. I've already cleaned up all the stuff that masquerades as dust off of it so now all I have to do is fill it and tape it shut.

So, why am I on the computer you ask? Well I get a break after every project. lol.

Glad things are coming along for you kissie

It's good for you to take a break and there's always someone around here....and you can always visit your friends you're not really leaving them-just your old place.

Just think...you'll soon be digging in your very own dirt grin

yep about 4 hours. Of course that's considering that I drive slowly. But I'll be that much closer to Obywan. And that's a definite plus. Maybe I'll be able to visit if the gas prices ever become somewhat reasonable.

Your right about my friends here helping me with getting the seeds, divisions and cuttings that will make for a beautiful garden.

Our Garden Helper family is fantastic.

It's been so long in comming that I can't believe it is almost here. And would you believe it's suppose to rain all tomorrow while we are trying to pack out? Just my luck right? Oh, well at least it will be cool so I'll be able to do more.

No time for stopping we have to get up at 5, go get the truck, and get on the road to miss the horrible traffic around this area. Be one town over by 10:00 for settlement. And then be at the house by 11:45 to meet the people that are going to help me. Then I have to get my driver to the bus station by 2:00 so he can go back home and then be back at my place at 3:00 for the telephone guy. I packed way to much stuff into tomorrow to do. I hope it goes off without a hitch.
