I know Jiffy. I could see it throught the camera lens but after I took the picture I thought it had flown away before I snapped it. It is a pale yellow and blends right in.

I am loving all these pictures!

The other day, I went out to look at the flowers around the pond, and saw this yellow tiger swallowtail just totally spread out on a dish of ocean pebbles. The dish was also filled with water from the previous night's rain and the butterfly was not moving at all! I thought it was dead.

I went inside to get my camera and when I went back to the spot, as soon as he saw me he flew off to a flower - scared me good!

So here he is enjoying the nectar of this oranges and lemons gaillardia.

did you send them with the last goodie box? I posted everything in there but I don't remember those.

If it was an envelope it could be in Johnny's work van. He picks up the mail and I don't get it unless I go through his van. So aggravating. Thanks for thinking of me. Mine did pretty good this year. They don't spread out though.??? Are they supposed too? Will it return next year?

I don't have any raspberry bbs. I've only got blue. I'm gonna see if I can find some because it's so pretty. Mine blue first thing in the spring an do really well here. I'm surprised yours are blooming now.
