My husband's Aunt just gave me an aloe plant and I have no idea how to take care of it! She plucked it from her yard and gave it to me in a little dirt; so I brought it home, repotted it, and put it in my sun-room. Now the tips are turning brown! What do I do?

The sunshine is calling me, the dirt says come and play, the little seeds yawn for a nap, the weeds yell go away!

well, if you used outside garden dirt that is one thing, but if you used miracle gro or something like that, you run the risk of keeping it too moist, which will cause your problems.

Go out and get cactus and succulent mix and repot. Allow the plant to dry out between waterings. Gardening dirt is NO GOOD. It's too heavy.
