Anyone have an opinion on whether or not hibiscus is a good way to go for a privacy hedge in South Florida? I see it everywhere down here, but I've heard that it can tend to be spotty for periods. I want a hedge that will stay bushy year round. And I really want flowers too! Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!

Camellia.

Phone your local nurseries for availability.

Camellias are shade lovers, prob not best for a hedge.

Oleander is good. Tropical Hibiscus.

Camillas are shade lovers? No wonder mine wont grow in the sun...

azaleas make great hedges.

and i've seen camelias in the sun. lots and lots of them.
