A baby gladiolus from the purple and white gladiolus is just starting to bloom. I'm really suprised because the adults bloomed some time ago. Will the baby be ok blooming this late?

sure it will. just make sure you don't cut the foliage until it dies back naturally.

Thanks Jiffy. You put my mind at rest. They sure are pretty gladiolus with a dark purple outer edge and a white throat.
