Cindy just called me, and although she is still sounding groggy and didn't talk too much, she said everything went well. She asked me to tell all of you "Thank you, for your prayers".
I was so happy that she called and I could hear her voice!
May you all rest well tonit - Prayers of thanks going up for healing our Cindy and for your continued strength .... Bill you are our rock... and thank you for the updates..... Nana
Good news!!! Wonderful!!! I was soo busy all day long that I didn't get to check in and see how everything was going, but I thought of you, Cindy, all day long.
Great news! I got home late tonight and this was the first thing I checked! I am so glad that things went perfect for once! She will be good to go very soon!
Good Morning Cindy I'm very thankful God answers Prayer,, and today starts a new recovery process that will hopefully will provide you a pain free life, and no more surgeries,,

Cindy had an itchy reaction to something last night, so she didn't get any sleep, but she is sounding good and is very anxious to come back home and see her Shadow. She will call me as soon as the doctor comes in to check on her. HOPEFULLY... I will be picking her and bringing her home early this afternoon...
Bill - that would be fantastic for Cindy to go home so quickly and heal in the magic of Cedar Hill with you at the helm! I hope the itchies went away overnight and that she recovers quickly and nicely with you and Shadow by her side!
Wow - the power of prayers at work for our Cindy...sorry about ichies but hopefully it was just temporary do to the anethesia... soon will be out of her system . Now it's Bill's and CH's turn to make her all better and back to our fun loving Cindy....now keep all the balloons and lawn chairs locked up! Nana
You know Bill I had an itchy reaction from my last surgery from too much morphine...I wanted to tear my face apart. It even peeled the skin in layers on it.
~~Tam~ You can bury all your troubles by digging in the dirt.
I'm hoping it is just a reaction from some type of medication or a combo of meds. Apparently they aren't concerned about it being anything serious or they would not have let her go. I'm so grateful. You can't even imagine how my nerves have been over this. It is such a relief. I'm hopeful she will finally start to feel better and be able to heal.

If you never have you should. These things are fun and fun is good.
You know if I hate anything it is insurance companies!!! How it ever go to the place where a person in a office several thousand miles away can decide when ANY patient should go home is beyond ME!!!!--And while a person might mentally feel better at home, I personally would much rather be in a hospital & not 1 hour away from said hospital if there was a problem.
Cindy, tamara--Please be careful and I will continue to pray for you both.

very true Cindy. But we all know by now that Bill can and does act quickly when it is necesssary.--so if not in the hosiptal then with Bill is the next best place for you to be. he will take good care of you I am sure. I feel good about your feeling good. sometimes a positive attitude is all that is needed. and true about the pain, one can tolerate it----at least we know THAT will go away.----
I am so relieved that you are home and safe, Cindy----like I said it restores my faith in all of it. But I am still going to pray----
Please rest well my friend.---- Anyway, I'm not so sure you were done recovering from the last surgeries, were you???--So rest-rest rest---You can clean and garden NEXT year----
e are not 25 any longer--it might take a bit longer to recover these days, HUH?

..and since my ARDS didn't start right after the surgery...took a few days to show up....I really needed to stay there for at least one more night...
I guess I need to take her back.....
well I do not know----If the dr thought so wouldn't he have given her another diagnosis so he could keep her?? or 'discharged' her and 're-admitted' her later--you know with out her ever having left the hospital??????
Hopefully with Cindy this is just the fear talking---(all be it she has plenty of reason to be afraid.) where is Sheri when we need her knowledge ??/---
Wasn't Cindy in the same hospital & all so they KNOW her History, right???

I have been on vacation since Friday but I was reading most of the posts here to keep updated. I only had internet on my phone so I wasn't posting. Well after I read the good news last night I went to post...it took a while because I was typing on a new phone....but when I hit submit it said that I couldn't post becaue Java Script was not enabled on my phone. I couldn't figure out how to enable it so I gave up.
I am so glad to hear that all went well and that you are home Cindy! I will continue to pray for a speedy recovery for you!!
Shhhhhhhhhhh! My baby is finally sleeping, so please.... no phone calls tonight... Please be assured that she is doing fine, but she HAS to make up for a lot of lost sleep....
NO! I would much rather be here at home in pain than in the hospital with pain. And my lungs sound good...still...and I brought a breathing thing home to make sure my lungs got a good work-out.
I can't believe your out of the hospital already,, but Since you were basically forced to go ( Insurance policies ) ,, I'm very glad you have the "breathing thing",, ,, does it measure your oxygen intake>>??

Thank you for letting us know. I have been VERY concerned but I assumed she was finally asleep or she would have called. Glad to know she is doing well still.
